If you book your job with us, we will see it through to its completion. We never take on more work than we can handle. If we are already booked for the day that you requested, we offer you the nearest available day. We can provide you all needed equipment and packing materials.

This was my first experience with CalState Moving & Storage. I booked two workers for three hours to load a POD. At the scheduled arrival time, I received a call informing me they would be an hour and a half late.
When they arrived, I showed the lead worker the scope of the job, and he immediately began discussing and negotiating the tip he expected for himself and his partner. I was approached multiple times about the tip throughout the job.
While they worked efficiently and finished ahead of the three-hour window, the experience was negatively impacted by the significant delay and the repeated pressure for a large tip. Because of this, I will not be using this service again.

These guys were very good. Heavy items down a flight of stairs and loaded the 16' pod without supervision. Real movers, not a couple of day laborers.

They did a good job, were very accommodating, on time, and were prepared. I only docked a star because we are missing a crucial piece of our couch, and our chair and bed were reassembled slightly incorrectly.

Roman and his team were friendly, polite, professional, and efficient. They arrived on time and worked hard (they moved the contents of a Pod to an apartment in downtown Los Angeles with ease). They were respectful of our property, and there were no issues or hidden charges. Would definitely recommend!

One of the workers broke the leg on my couch.
They asked for a tip and I told him, “I don’t have the money,” and he continued to ask me to zelle him and I told him again, “I don’t have the money. Moving is very expensive.” and I told him, “ I just put out $1,800 for them to move me.” It was very uncomfortable.
They expected me to provide them food and water. I asked him, “don’t you bring drinks and food when you work?” He said, “no.”

CalState did a great job for me unloading a U-Pack container and transporting my things to my new home. The crew was on time (actually they were early!) and worked quickly. I was pleased with their services and would definitely recommend them.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the arrival of movers was delayed by 4 hours. Since the moving day was on the weekend, reaching out to the office was difficult in the beginning. However, eventually the management team managed to make the move happen on the same day as planned.
Despite the stressful morning, the movers were nice, and efficient. They did a great job packing and and unpacking furniture pieces carefully without scratches/damages to furniture or flooring/paint. I'd hire this team again for the next move.
