They showed up on time and got to work right away. They were moving fast, I even mentioned how fast they were moving as a positive. Then things started to slow down. I was moving from a one bedroom to another one bedroom. I didn’t have a lot of furniture. I had a section couch, tv stand and tv for the living room. Medium sized table and four chairs for the dinning room. One large bed, two small night stands and a medium sized dresser for the bedroom. Also two medium sized hallway dressers. Got quoted for two hours move time and 30minutes drive time.
They knocked out the living room and hallway closets in less than 20 minutes and was excited they would get done early, receive a generous tip from me and move onto their next job. That didn’t happen. After their pace started fast they slowed down almost as if they were watching the clock to get an extra hour and an extra $150. At one point I watched one of them doing a slow walk back into the building with nothing in his hands that could have slowed him down. They were two young boys, maybe late teens if not very early 20’s. We ended up wrapping up the load from the first place in a little over a hour and 15 minutes, that’s when I knew there was jo chance I would be paying what I was quoted for. When it came time to checkout on the mobile app one of the workers told me I had to add an extra hour to the bill. The app simply said you’re approaching your quoted time. He was very persistent on adding the extra hour almost as it was expected before they started the move. I told them I wouldn’t add anything and the website I booked them through would be the only way I would handle financial changes as that is where I payee for everything. Hire a helper, the website ended up add the extra charge at end of day. Very disappointing, felt like a scam. Would not recommend.

They arrived early but without any warning call, thankfully I was watching for them. The movers themselves were very nice and worked hard, but it took them over 2 hours to move my already packed boxes (maybe 50 of varying sizes) some pictures/art work, and living room and office furniture out of the house. I can understand it taking time to move in seeing as how it took time waiting on an elevator, but it ended up taking 4.5 hours to move all of the above, which seems outrageous, and I was charged more than what I was quoted. They also put my couch cushions in a wood box that had splinters, so after getting it put back together and sitting on it, you could feel those splinters. Overall, the two guys that came were nice and communicated during, but I'm not impressed with time it took to do all of this. I'm not a stranger to moving, and it's never taken this long. I will definitely be trying a different company next time.
