We had requested that the owner of Family Movers and Mo come back to unload our second POD, but Chris(?) and Tom were sent instead. They called to let us know when they would be here and arrived on time. They weren't careless with our belongings, but didn't seem to care as much as the owner and Mo. They worked quickly except for the many times Chris would stop to talk. At least he was friendly.

The owner of the Family Movers (sorry, can't remember his name) and Mo called us when they were on their way and gave us a time they would arrive. They were both very friendly and talkative, but kept the pace moving on a very hot and humid day. They took care with our belongings. We would definitely hire them again.

Called at last minute to say they would be 1 ½ hrs late. Worked well, but not everything ended up where it was supposed to go. Also complained about how little they were actually being paid for the job - trying to get more money from me? Maybe just because they were still young.

What types of moves have you handled?
We are both labor and full service, for commercial, and residential. We also work for a Restoration company. We do a lot of Fire, Water, Mold where we clear out effected homes, then when the work in the home is done, we move it all back in. And set things back up.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The people you meet and the stories they share.

Basic lifting techniques, communication between Movers, proper packing and padding techniques...
