They were on time and worked hard. However they were not fully prepared. They had no floor protection pads or protective booties for their shoes. As a result the carpet in one room will require professional cleaning. I would use them again is they came better prepared.
I can't say enough good things about A.J. Helpers! Jeremy and his crew showed up a little early and were already ready to jump right in, even though we ended up having to park the truck a little farther away from my apartment than would have been ideal for moving (sorry Jeremy!) They were also very well organized. They took the time they needed on both sides of the move to examine the space available as well as our stuff so they could figure out the best way to load the truck, and they did such a wonderful job that our stuff didn't even shift around too much on the drive over to the new place, even though we had to drive up a HUGE hill—very impressive! They were very careful with everything, and even when the move time ended up being longer than initially planned, they were total professionals. While I hope it'll be a long time before I have to move again, I'd hire them again in a minute. Thanks, Justin!
Justin and his helper were a little late within the hour time frame they presented at arriving. When they arrived they were not prepared even though I specifically asked about a dolly for moving several heavy items. Justin worked extremely hard to combat not having a dolly, however they would have finished the job a lot quicker if they did. My husband ended up buying a $60 dolly to bring home from work so they could finish a job they were hired to do! I would use a different moving company if I were to move again.

I have used three different moving companies in the past few years and this last experience was very unpleasant. We booked two helpers to start at 11 AM, they called the day before and asked if we can moved it to 2PM because they want to give time between two services. I agreed with their request and they showed up 20 minutes late. Two young guys came (maybe 18-19), one of them was very weak. His leg was injured and he could hardly walk! We realized that they had another 4-hours job to take care of before our moving. They were very slow and careless, dragged my furniture on the floor and stairs. As a result, my nice dining table and dressers got dented and scratched our bed frame and couple other staffs were damaged. I asked them not to slide the furniture and the helpers did not seem to care! It took them so long to figure out how to fit the furniture and boxes in the truck, and at the end they packed them very poorly. It was a 10-minute drive to the new place. When they started unloading, we realized that some of the boxes fell down on other stuffs in the truck. We hired them for 2 hours were okay to keep them for another hour if needed, however the guys were tired after one hour. They spend more time unloading and at the end, it took 20 minutes longer than what we had scheduled. AJ said they only way to pay them the extra time is by cash! We didn’t have cash at that moment so my husband left to get some cash. Later AJ said we can pay through HireAHelper with credit card. They also wanted to charge us for 1 hour extra (for the 20 mins), but talking to HireAHelper I found out that it should be rounded to 30 mins. Overall, I would never recommend this company to anyone.
They were very nice guys but no experience and AJ knew a little about moving but the other guy was not a mover and never will be. Hope them best of luck in this moving but do not see it lasting. AJ needs a belt as he had to stop a lot to pull his pants up lol. Need to get people that can lift heavy items as you guys will not cut it. Over all on a 1 to 10 scale I rate the help as a 4 AJ your helper needs to go not being mean but he is a weak link. Thanks
The mom was pleasant! The boys a little rude and one of them inquired to if I was single or not which I thought was unprofessional. Didn’t take much care in trying not to scuff walls or furniture
They called the day before to confirm the expected arrival time, but then the day of the job they called to say they'd be late; even though I was the first job of the day. Fortunately, the freight arrival was late as well (I hired them to unload a truck), so AJ Helpers' tardiness did not cause a problem. Both workers kept at it and did well, though the younger man could have been a little more careful. For the price, I'd consider hiring them again.
