They did not pack the container efficiently.The larger items were not moved .The pod could have contained all my items .Other than that , they worked hard, but they were not prepared to move large items. I had to pay for a second pod!

I recommend the workers highly. They did a fantastic job loading our POD in under the 2-hour allotted time. They completed their task in 1 hour and 15 minutes! However, I will NEVER use the contractor. The folks that Hire A Helper hired (the owners of Moving Maniacs) called me the night before the move telling me that if we had anything over 200 pounds it would be a $150 charge per item and they asked about stairs when it was noted that there weren't any on the form. We contracted with Hire A Helper and were NEVER notified there would be an upcharge for heavy items. If we had anything over 200 pounds, we would have been stuck paying that fee because there would have been no way for us to reschedule another shipper the night before the move. That was in bad faith as we paid $450 to load an 8 square foot POD, which was a ridiculous price to begin with. We only had boxes, a bed frame, two night tables, 2 chairs, small desk, two armoires and two chests full of dishes on wheels with one step to the POD.

Fast, but poor service. Ruined by the rudeness of one of the workers who threatened to unpack items from truck unless an unwarranted few were paid to him by phone. Paid for 3 hours, they completed 85% of the work in 1.5 hours and then said they wanted to leave because they were done. Rough with delicate items. Would not recommend.

The two young men were very polite, and worked well as a team to move my furniture into the POD arranging things so they are secure and fit well. Hard workers and I thank them both.

One of the men complained, for the majority of the moving session, about not receiving payment on-time, if at all from the company. He routinely dropped items and placed them with an apparently carelessness. The other mover, his name started with a D, was courteous and apologetic and moved all boxes/furniture with care and no complaints.

The reason I did not give a good review was because for the price we were charged I would’ve expected the movers not to bang our furniture off our walls. They were polite and on time and respectful.. I really think the price of the services were extremely high.
