J & M moving was prompt & the workers were very polite & worked hard. I had contracted 2 hrs.time with 2 movers. 4 movers came however. The upside was the work was probably done a little quicker than with 2. The downside was their skills were not equal & because of that, belongings were stacked in such a way that some damage occurred. The problem, however, came when an additional hour was needed to take the remainder of belongings to a storage shed. I paid cash for the additional time of 1 hr. in the amount I was quoted & also gave each worker a tip. Jr. seemed very grateful at the time. However, he called & wanted an additional $200. He said he used his own truck & had 4 workers. I am assuming he spoke to someone in the meantime. I appreciate not having to rent a small U-hall, but I explained I didn't contract for 4 workers. The extra hour then cost me the same as the original 2 hrs. For that reason, I won't use this company again.

Junior was a true professional. Called a week prior to confirm the work. He consolidated my container from 2 to 1, arrived on time and provided me photos of how he loaded my container since I was not on site. Thank you Junior.

J&M were great to work with. We hired them to unload our 16' packed moving truck and they thoughtfully provided pads and a hand truck and were very mindful not to track dirt inside the new apartment on the carpeting.
They very quickly, safely, and carefully unloaded all of our things and were very punctual, friendly, and communicative throughout the process. Next time we move, my hope is that Junior and the team are available! Ours was a 2 bedroom but I have no doubt they can easily handle larger moves than that.

I’ve handled it all my favorite moves would be long distance because I get to see new parts of my state places I would never see if I wasn’t a mover.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part about being a mover is meeting new people and getting that work out from all the heavy lifting.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Every week we do routines and find new ways to get around sharp corners and how to be more efficient practice makes perfect!
