The service was OK but, I called several days before the scheduled move to make sure they had the required equipment to move the very heavy safe.
The only thing that was to be moved.
They assured me they did. The 4 guys showed up with a dolly that was woefully inadequate. They had to buy another dolly that they should have had originally. They did get the job done but, they could have been better prepared.

I hired two movers for labor to load my 1-bedroom into a truck that I had rented and was driving for my move myself. They worked quickly and efficiently and got the job done in the two hours I'd hired them for; I was even still packing some items while they were there and I would just put a packed box out and they would grab it. They did a great job with packing the truck--created a wall of boxes, then the mattress and box spring to hold it, then other furniture, and nothing budged during the drive (though there was one small shelf that I thought looked a little oddly placed, but it was fine). My only minor quibble is that they told me they would call when they were on the way--however, they didn't call and arrived to my place before I'd gotten back from picking up my parents at the airport. It was only a couple of minutes so in the end it didn't really matter, but it did feel a bit chaotic when they first arrived (since I had been planning on having a heads up).

I hired 2 guys for 2 hours to move my furniture from a truck to a 2nd floor apartment, with a confirmed arrival window of 9am-10am. They called me in the morning to say they would arrive between 9:30 and 10:30. Not a big deal, and they still arrived at 9:50. I had an experienced guy and a trainee. The trainee was pulling boxes up the stairs on a dolly, as instructed by the other guy, without tying them down. One box fell off at the very top step and fell ALL THE WAY DOWN. Then I went into the truck and found a CIGARETTE BUTT SITTING ON MY FURNITURE from the cigarette that the experienced guy had JUST SMOKED. It would’ve been bad enough that he had smoked in the truck around my furniture, BUT WHO PUTS A CIGARETTE BUTT ON FURNITURE??!!! They routinely picked up my furniture without having a clear path out of the truck or to the stairs which is dangerous both for the workers and for my things. They got all my stuff in my apartment, but that’s all I can say.

The moving company (RSM) is very disorganized and doesn't show up when service is requested. We had to wait 9 hours for them to show up to load furniture.
The crew that did the actual moving of the furniture was very polite and worked hard.
