My moving crew was amazing. These guys truly went above and beyond.. they helped me set up my TV, ripped plastic wrap off my chairs, assembled furniture (even though I didn’t put that in my quote). Everything was moved in on time, nothing was broken. This was a last minute booking, and with multiple jobs lined up that hot day, they were still very pleasant and never complained :)

Our POD delivery was later then we had planned. 5-Star was flexible in the start time. Had 2 guys. They jumped right in to prioritize big, heavy, awkward furniture. Were patient in placing the furniture while my parents made thier decisions. Appreciated their help when my parents changed thier minds. We got the 16' POD unloaded in 2.5 hrs. Thank you!

When a customer books with 5-Star Movers, they can expect a prompt phone call to go over the details of the move, and discuss what the best options are for the customer to make the move go as smoothly as possible.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The customer should expect a crew that moves their items quickly and efficiently, while also being lighthearted and able to joke around with them and have fun on the moving day.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The customer should prepare for moving day by making sure they have plenty of ratchet straps and blankets so our team can come in and make sure all of their items are packed as securely and safely as possible. If it is a larger apartment complex, we advise that they reserve a freight elevator for use during their move.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done all types of moves from long distance full-service jobs to California, office moves, full PODs packs, and even just moving a couch around in a house. We can do it all!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of being a mover is the variation in environment from day to day. Sometimes I could be working at a 8000 square foot mansion with a 6 man crew, other days I could be working at a studio apartment with one other person. Every day is truly different, and that's what makes it exciting!
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our crew members all know how to use basic tools for assembly and disassembly, they know how to use moving equipment such as dollies and shoulder straps to make the move smoother. Our experienced guys are very good at loading trucks, and show the new people how to do it so they can one day be a great loader as well. We also prioritize attention to detail and will miss out on jobs sometimes rather than ever sending a crew we don't believe is 5-Star quality.
