I booked this company to help unload two PODS. For the first booking they called with the offer to show up to unload the first POD a day early. I agreed to this rescheduling. After waiting for their arrival three hours beyond the agreed arrival time, Hire-A-Helper moved the booking back to the original date/time (the next day). An hour later the movers called and said they could be on-site in 30 minutes. I agreed to the rescheduling and they were very efficient and careful in unloading the POD. I have them a five star rating as the unloading was done well, overlooking their 6 hour delay in arriving.
The booking for unloading the second POD did not go well as they failed to show up. The day before I called to confirm the booking. I was told we were on their schedule and was promised a return call if there would be any delay. I was not called back. On the day of the booking I called, received no answer and was unable to leave a voicemail because the mailbox was full. I sent a text message asking for an approximate ETA but received no response. At the end of the hour window I had not been able to contact Prestige Movers nor had I been contacted by them. A No Show.
I am therefore giving them a one star rating for today’s booking.

This crew was amazing! They unloaded a full 26 foot truck, partly in the rain, and handled all the fragile components with a velvet glove. Top notch service! I'd absolutely recommend them to anybody.

You will have great communication with the company. You'll receive top of the line dedicated Movers to help you professionally load your, pod containers, rental truck, semi-truck trailer or unloading help. We make sure customer receives 100% satisfaction.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
You will receive a phone call or text message the day before the move. The team leader will contact you the day of the move to let you know the expected arrival time.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
We ask for customer to have all boxes packed and ready. If tools are needed to disassemble furniture, please let us know ahead of time.
What types of moves have you handled?
Prestige Movers handles local & long distance moves (we love long distance), commercial, office, events, same place relocation, evictions, and much more.
