These guys came and worked hard to unload my freight trailer. They were scheduled for Tuesday morning, but my trailer arrived early and they came that Monday evening. They were very respectful to us and our property.

These guys did a great job! Can't say enough good things. They showed up on time, worked steadily all day, were very careful with our items - nothing was damaged and we had a lot, including a 500 lb pool table that needed to go up a flight of stairs. The guys were also polite and pleasant and able to stay even longer than we had scheduled. Extremely satisfied! Reasonable rates as well! Thanks guys!

The men that came to move us were very respectful and acted professional. They moved all of our furniture with great care but it took longer than it should have. They had a difficult time loading the truck to fit the maximum load. They were not as efficient as they should have been. Overall, they did an average job.

Outstanding workers who were not only friendly but also very hard workers who were meticulous and were able to squeeze out every cubic foot of space from our two containers. The had extra supplies that we needed as we ran short. They packed or wrapped each item very thoroughly. I highly recommend them. -Tom

So kind, so helpful, and very careful! They offered to stay for the entire 2 hours and set stuff up even though they were done early getting things out of the truck. Very, very impressive, and would recommend to anyone.

The movers were very personable and helpful. However, they did not pack the units as advertised. I was told that all furniture would be wrapped in shrink wrap. As it turns out, barely any of it was. I have had damage to furniture and other items because of this. In addition 1800PACKRAT underestimated the amount of capacity I would need, so they were operating at a bit of a disadvantage. However, if they were experienced enough in estimating the size of a move, the movers could have told me in the morning that we would not have enough space so I could have had another pod delivered. As it turned out, they did not realize we would not have enough space until the end of the day so I had to rent a Uhaul trailer as well.
Other than that, they were on time. They were professional.

Billy is an expert at this! He and his helper Jesus were on time, planned and executed the unloading of my truck efficiently, and went WAY above and beyond in moving several difficult pieces. They carefully set up a heavy china cabinet, moved a heavy desk/cubicle down to another room, and took apart a handmade bed to be disposed of. I will highly recommend Smart Move!

Billy and Davon were our movers. They worked very hard unloading a container and moving stuff into our house, including a refrigerator from which they had to remove the door to get into the house.
They actually finished unloading the container in a little less than two hours, and stayed and helped us arrange things in the house until the full time was up.
Very nice guys, very hard workers; hope we get them again in Feb. when our second container comes out of storage.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part about being a mover is meeting new people everyday. Some of these relationships have lasted over 15 years!
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our training consists of live experience at our warehouse before going in our customers' homes.
