Nice folks. Very knowledgeable. Great at organizing furniture and getting job done. Should know to use ropes especially for pods to tie from ceiling to floor regardless of the move. It prevents shifting and pressure on your furniture. I had to redo their packing which required an extra three hours. My recommendation would be if you use them to require they do this.

Kathleen we thank you for your comments but, you only informed us that you wanted the load sectioned and strapped down the day after your job was completed. We used rope where needed and partially loaded to waist level.

The team was awesome - they showed up on time prepared with all the equipment necessary. They were professional, courteous, and efficient. We managed to get our truck unloaded in less than 2 hours. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them in the future.

J&L Movers was 1.5 hrs. late due to staffing availability. However, they had rescheduled my move for an earlier time, and wound up starting at the originally scheduled time. If I was under time pressure like having a moving elevator reserved for a certain time, I would see that as being an issue. Luckily, I didn't have those restrictions. Other than that, they were prepared for the job. They worked real hard and didn't waste any time. They were very respectful of our property and goods. They always asked where things should go and made sure they were moved safely. I would use them again, in spite of the tardiness.

I despise having to pay overages when the site was the one who told me how many hours I would need them for. We ended up not wrappings all our furniture like I wanted to bc the entire loading process was just taking too much time. I needed way more than 2 guys. They were nice guys but didn't finish even close tootie time that was given.

Hi Lisa, thanks for letting us know about your experience. We did speak prior to the move and based on the details given, '5bdr 5bth 3,418 sqr ft' we recommended 4ppl for 3hrs. We recommend larger teams to save time and it's also more cost effective. For loading or unloading when stairs or an elevator is involved we recommend a team of 3 or larger. We're available to assist with any move from start to finish.

They were late. Did not complete rooms left small things that I had to bring them back to finish.Took over an hr to get fridge out.Will not use again

Randy and his crew could not have been more friendly, hardworking and easy to work with. I would hire them again in an instant. They called and told us they would be there in 15 minutes. They double checked what items went where and we careful with every item. They even put together every bed they moved. What a homerun.
