The three men from J&L Movers were more than movers -- they were really great supporters for our move: positive, kind, and professional. Speedy, efficient, and helpful in all ways. The main leader, Jay, kept everything moving along effectively: he kept the crew on task (though they were individually self-motivated and hard workers) and sent everyone to the area that needed attention. We did need to ask them to pack some paintings more carefully, but it was because we'd asked for speed and tightly packed PODS first. Everything we requested they accommodated. On time, prepared, and hard-working, we'd easily recommend them.

J&L Movers were awesome in every aspect! I can't say enough about them. We needed two, very heavy, (200 lbs & 400 lbs),large format printers unpacked and moved up two flights of stairs. They were not only very punctual and hard working but were also very prepared for the move with the right equipment and number of people. They had to work closely with us as the machines were coming on a freight truck, so we weren't exactly sure when they would arrive. They were very respectful of both our very expensive machines and everyone they came into contact with. I will definitely use them again for a large move or if we have another one time large / heavy move.

The service provided was expeditious and got me on the road. Making my Mother comfortable and confident that her belongings were in good hand ease my mind and made the trip to NY a success. Not a single item was damage. Rodney, Daveon, Jay and Ralphy did a wonderful job, I would recommend there service highly. They were there by 8:05 pm and locking the truck up by 9:15 pm. We had a four person crew including Jay, Layla, Jason and Randy helping us load two PODS. I have never met such hard-working people in my life! They packed the PODS like a jigsaw puzzle, were efficient, careful and extremely nice people. I would highly recommend to anyone needing help with a move.

If I could give J & L Movers 100 stars, I would! They arrived on time, ready to work, and didn't stop until the job was completed. They were definitely prepared and worked very very hard! I felt comfortable enough that I left my home on several occasions while they were packing. In fact, I was donating several things to goodwill and asked if they wanted them instead. The next day, one of them came back with something he thought looked important from the stack of things I had given him. The integrity and honesty in this company cannot be matched!! Moving is hard and I was ready to throw in the towel. These guys had such a calming demeanor that they seemed to wash the stress away. We thought it would only take 5 hours, but misjudged on time. These guys worked 11.5 hours into the night. In fact, when the people that were packing our truck the following day left us in a pickle, these guys showed back up at 8PM and worked until 2:30AM to get the job done. I was desperate and ready to pay them whatever they wanted. It was a perfect time for them to price gouge. Doing the figures in my head, I estimated having to pay double what they actually charged. I was so pleasantly surprised! These guys were a true blessing to our move! Even if you have hired a large moving company (and trust me - we've moved across country 6 times in the past 10 years!) - drop them and hire J & L Movers! Worth every dime!!!!
