For our storage customers, we provide an online accounting and inventory of everything a customer may have in storage. Finally, our guys are college educated and receive rigorous training to ensure the safety and competency of your move. We're obsessed with helping people! Ultimately, we're in an industry fraught with friction. Moving homes and transporting things to a store facility (for our storage customers) is difficult and time-consuming. We're looking to take away from your stress and seeing people pleased with our work is all the reward that we need.

If I could give zero stars I would. Initial loading was good and then went downhill from there. Movers got high on the way to my house and then lazy. Stuff got broken, damaged walls, didnt have tools to take apart items, items put together incorrectly. Thought management was correcting the problem until they changed us full price this week even though we were supposed to get money taken off for horrible experience. Representative told my husband no one had ever talked to me about my experience and I authorized them to charge card when NO ONE CALLED ME THIS WEEK. Absolute headache and nightmare of an experience. Would have rather moved the stuff myself and saved the money.
You guys sucked! Only one person moved everything when I hired 2 unless it was a double lift job. He just sat in the truck dicking off. **** this company it's trash. Bunch of slack ass dudes doing a slack ass job and then make your move take longer than it should so they can cash in. Bastards took 45 minutes to wrap a sofa while they complained about how much of the sofa was covered before taping it. Then took a detour to screw off some more and had to wait 15 minutes for them at my new place when they left before me. Never using them again and will never recommend them to others.
They were very polite. On Time and worked hard. I appreciated that and highly recommend.
I'm hate leaving negative reviews but I would HATE for anyone to pay for horrible service from a company that clearly could care less.I requested 2 movers to move my mothers items from her storage. When the driver called he seemed either inebriated or elderly because i had to give him the directions 4 times, even though he could visibly see my sister outside waving. 1 of the guys was elderly with no front teeth and the other was a middle aged guy (nice, with an accent).The guy with no teeth kept talking about how he was from Bankhead projects, he carries $5000 in cash and all sorts of UNECESSARY conversation. At this point with all the babbling, i asked could he work and TALK since he's being paid by the hour... He then proceeds to tell my mom "you and her are nothing alike, you're nice". Several times he would make smart comments, when i asked "excuse me what did you say", he would then say to me "if you can say huh you can hear"... He also stated that my mother needed a larger apt because she has "house furniture"...At this point im over the extra conversation and smart talking and we were VERY uncomfortable with him. His coworker told him to chill out a few times and he event tried to make it a more jovial conversation to break the tension. I called as soon as they left to let the company know what happened....I spoke with a guy who says he was there supervisor and basically tried to discredit everything I said, but promised to have someone call me back.....IT NEVER HAPPENED! Not a single call, text message, We apologize for the inconvenience NOTHING. I've used hireahelper before and the other guys were excellent. However this was a complete mess.
Some friends of ours are moving next week and I immediately recommended Hire A Helper and My Porter. We had such a great experience and the movers were wonderful. They were fast, clean, efficient, and helped relieve the stress of the big day. Will definitely be using them again.

The young gentlemen from My Porter who moved my belongings were on time. They came with all the items the needed to protect and move everything. They were tireless and incredibly hard working. My Porter movers treated every item as though it belonged to them. I would certainly use them again.
