They called in the morning to confirm and said they would arrive at 12:30. (Scheduled window for arrival was noon - 1pm) At 2pm they weren't here yet so I called and sent a text. About 45 min later they texted "give me 4 I just finished another job." Then I never heard from them again! Don't use this mover - unreliable.

On time: 3/5 - They were about two hours late but they had a longer than planned earlier appointment and kept in good contact on their status. Prepared for job: 4.5/5 - They did have a trolley, but it wasn't good for appliances. They did have equipment to ensure the safe movement of items. Did they work hard: 2/5 - I really felt they could have shown more hustle. In 2.5 hours they weren't able to empty our truck that was 75% boxes with 2 dollies (one was ours). Respectful of property: 5/5 - everything that was moved was done with care and no damage. Would use again: Probably not. While in general they did a good job, one of the very first thing they said was "we accept tips." I found this unprofessional. It's puts the customer in an awkward position. Tipping is covered in the info that the site sends you and tipping should be entirely at the customer's discretion. Also, we had to have a discussion about the work they would do. Clearly, Hireahelper's model is hourly. The job is secured on an hourly rate. When the workers arrived they initially indicated that they were hired to unload a 16' truck. Nowhere during the scheduling process does it indicate the size of the truck. Again, simply an hourly rate for moving items. Rocket Movers has the potential to be excellent helpers if they tighten up their professionalism and add a bit more hustle to their work effort.
