They move was scheduled between 8a-9a, however Carl had a flat and we didn't start the move until after 10:30am. I ordered a 26 foot truck and 3 men with 4 hours of labor to move a 8x10 storage and a 2bdrm 2bth duplex. Carl showed up in a Dodge Ram and 16ft trailer. Not only did I NOT receive what I asked for in my request, it was not adequate to do the job in a timely fashion, thus IMO he was not prepared to do the job. The move took 9 hrs. He was a very combative when I asked about the truck. I called the hire-a-helper to complain about the truck, and the additional hours it was going to take, Carl threatened to stop the move and leave everything in my garage, including my fiancé dialysis medication. The 3 three guys worked hard, I had minimal damage to my property. However, I would not use them again as it was very stressful for my family.

In beginning they wasn’t friendly. I tried to explain I didn’t have much but just wanted to work a little faster instead of complaining. At the end they both was smiling. The process was easy

They arrived more than two hours late, and one of them seemed to be heavily intoxicated. They broke the base of my TV, and tried to cheat on the time it took to travel from the old to the new address.
Any thing that they could do wrong, they did. Can never use them again.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Customers should perpare for moving day by assuring all items that are to be moved have been properly packed in boxes and taped shut. This includes all glass, pictures and hanging clothes from your closet. If there are stairs, bulky or oversized items or appliances please inform your Royal Lion Representative prior to moving day. Also please inform representative if you would like packing or unpacking assistance or need to purchase packing materials including boxes, tap, shrink wrap, mattress covers ext.
