they were a little bit late, but called to tell me when they would arrive. once they arrived, the movers worked hard and worked fast to get all my stuff loaded and en route. we were using a pickup truck with a short bed, so it took a couple round trips, and they were very patient and helpful. i would definitely hire these guys again!

Great job guys! Arrived on time and worked very efficiently, were incredibly careful with all my breakable items and furniture. Friendly and energetic attitudes even though they had to carry a huge sectional up to my third floor apartment in the heat. Very impressed with the care they took in moving my belongings as well as how quick they got the job done. Will make sure to call Morris and Larry again for my next move!

Guys were on-time, worked hard, prepared and took care of the walls and furniture. This is the second time I've used Hire-a-helper, and both times worked out well. Both times the helpers were flexible when things came up (like rain -they said they would come back when it stopped and not just stand around on the clock). The only small compaint would be that they didn't load the truck in reverse order of what needed to go off first and we ended with the carpets coming off at the end and couldn't put them down easily. Other than that, things went very well.
