Smart Move did a great job. The movers, Derrik and Mario, were fast and thorough, never taking a rest in 2 hours other than to use my bathroom.
It would have been comforting to receive a text during the 1 hour window. I called 30 min. into that hour and Emilio said he'd communicate with the team and ask them to call me, which they did immediately to let me know they'd be there a bit after the 1 hour window, which was fine.
Emilio, my phone contact, was fantastic. Smart Move's and Hire-a-Helper's communications and billing's wires got mixed and I was contacted the day before for a $100 deposit, which I paid. Turns out I was also charged the full amount of the job by Hire-a-Helper. Emilio figured out the issue and remedied it. He and I ended up talking 4-5 times during the move as he worked to resolve the double payment issue. He followed up immediately with a screen shot of the credit and then again, I believe after he had already left work. 5 stars to Emilio!
Honestly, your understanding about the late arrival and the prepayment mix-up—and the calm and patience you showed throughout—were remarkable. If we could rate our customers, you’d definitely earn a 5-star review from us too!

They finished unpacking my pod in an hour and 40 minutes. Then they kindly helped me open some boxes before they left. I didn't realize I was supposed to text your company when we were done. However, I did speak to someone that called me from smart moves and told them the same information I just gave yo The original people that I use for smart.Move washed the screws to my bed so it couldn't be put together.However, your crew came the following day and did put it together.So I'm very satisfied.You stand behind your work.Thank you

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part about being a mover is meeting new people everyday. Some of these relationships have lasted over 15 years!
