What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Fox and Ginn proudly offers professional move counseling and gently used moving boxes at no charge. We also offer 50 lbs of free paper shredding with your booking. For a small fee, we also destroy computers and any electronic device capable of storing information.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Our men will arrive on time and in uniform. We'll do a brief walk through so we know what's more important to you. That also helps us understand where we need to start loading for maximum efficiency.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Its a good idea to keep important personal belongings, medications, checkbooks, etc with you and not in the moving truck. We provide you with a comprehensive list of things that should not go in the shipment. Please mark items that should not be moved as "DNM" so our crew knows to leave those alone. If you're not sure, just ask us.
What types of moves have you handled?
For decades, Fox and Ginn has moved families locally from across town, to anywhere in Maine. We're an Agent for ALLIED vanlines so we can also move you anywhere in the US including Alaska and Hawaii. And Internationally too, including Mexico and Canada. We do residential moves as well as offices and industrial moves.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Helping customers achieve their relocation goals. Most movers just wanna get it over with, but we like to hear what's important to the customer and make sure we attend to those details. Happy customers are our Number 1 priority.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our crews are trained to pack delicate items properly; We have specialized equipment to handle any sort of item, like pianos and heavy safes. Our men are trained on how to use them correctly. We have multiple safety awards which are very important to us. If an item needs to be crated for safe handling, we can take care of that too.
