Horrible, do not use this company! They caused thousands of dollars in damages to my property and new home (broken furniture, damage to the walls, trim, and ceilings).They arrived with the wrong sized truck and barely any equipment, because of that they had to make 2 trips. They then charged me 3x what was quoted because it took them so long to make 2 trips. It was an uncomfortable and terrible experience.

Our problem with the move was not with Lucas Moving unless Lucas Moving was responsible for selecting the size vehicle for the job . We advised Hire A Helper that the move was from a one bedroom apartment to another one bedroom apartment. Hire A Helper sent Lucas with too small a truck which added significant travel time and tripled the price that we believed the move would cost . We will not be using Hire A Helper’s service in the future and will be posting a very negative review on the Hire A Helper web site . We were very disappointed in the service and subsequent incremental costs .

I hired three professional movers for three hours to move furniture within my house. Three people arrived on time with good communication.. There were two men and a woman. The two men were polite, strong, hard workers but they were not totally professional. I requested that they use moving blankets that I provided on the furniture but had to remind them to use them. I had to suggest that they remove the legs of the dining room table before trying to get it around a difficult corner, and while I removed the legs from a love seat that would not fit through a doorway, they stood and watched me. They avoided trying to move a sofa bed and love seat. The third professional mover was not particularly strong, did not work hard, and did not move a single piece of furniture that I could not have moved myself.(I am 77) I did not hire professionals to only move things that I could have done myself. I expected three strong professionals to work consistently for three hours.

I had a great experience moving with this company. They were ready a little while before my 2pm window, so they arrived early. They were careful with my furniture, including my couch which was difficult to disassemble. They were efficient and respectful of my belongings. I especially appreciated their hard work considering my new apartment's very steep stairs and narrow hallway. I would use their services again.
