I am torn between a three star rating and a four star rating. They arrived right on time. The supervisor introduced each of the movers to me and they were very polite. They worked extremely hard. They were also very helpful. There were a couple of big problems though. 1) A good number of my items were damaged. I expected in a move that you won’t go unscathed but there was more damage than I expected. 2) when I pushed the supervisor on one of the damaged items, he went off on me. I mean a full scale rant. He was frustrated that the move took more than double the time that I booked. I would understand that except that I had three conversations with people that week sharing that I was concerned the amount of time they recommended for my move would not be sufficient. One of those conversations was with the supervisor himself. I shared the challenges of my size of home, being on a very steep driveway, and having lots of stairs. Despite sharing those concerns, all three conversations confirmed with me that they felt comfortable the amount of time we booked was sufficient. I felt it was totally inappropriate that I was blamed for not booking enough time when I challenged this multiple times. They are the professional movers… Not me. I feel like I totally did all I could to share the complexity of my move. There was one large item… A sunsetter awning, that turned out to be challenging in terms of space in the moving truck. Evidently, that made it hard for them to work around when loading the truck. I had no idea that would pose such a challenge. As I expressed to the supervisor though, all he had to do was tell me that that was going to make it more difficult for them and we could have thought through a new plan. I could have made other arrangements. But, he never shared with me that it was going to be an issue for them until he interrupted with me at the end of the move. I know they were late for another job and he was getting pressure to get there. I completely understand that. But to tell me that he was losing money by not getting there was a completely false statement. I paid for every single extra hour they were here. Again, I feel I did everything I could and my three phone conversations to express my concerns about the amount of time that was reserved and the complexity of my job.
Running over on time should have nothing to do with the quality of the work. To share my concerns about damaged items and to turn around and blame me for the amount of time I booked seems like a copout. They are two separate things.
So, as I started out with this review… I am struggling on how to rate them. Because up until that point, they really were a pleasure to work with. Very responsive, very friendly and very helpful.

Anthony was excellent. He contacted me to say he could do the job early and his work was efficient. The work was scheduled for 4 hours and it was completed in 3.

Anthony and his crew were great to work with, they did not dilly dally around, were respectful and worked to expectations. I had a 25X10X8 storage bay that was packed from top to bottom front to back that needed to be moved into a 26' U-Haul truck and a 12X6 Trailer. It took one hour past the time limit but the care with which the truck was loaded was the only way it all would have fit. Nothing broke coming across the mountain pass post move during the unpack. I would recommend Anthony and crew for this type of work.

These guys were fantastic. Anthony was super patient with us as we were moving from another state and needed some flexibility with arrival time. They were on time, worked hard. They were careful, and they got the job done very well. They were also friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Thank the two men who moved us. Actually they arrived a bit earlier than the time frame given to me. Definitely they were prepared - tools, blankets. The distance they had to take everything from the truck to the unit was quite long, but not a problem. I would definitely do the move like that again with Mighty Man and HireAHelper, or directly for a bigger move.

My guys were on time, worked hard and fast and finished in the two hours planned. They were careful with my belongings which were moved from a truck into a storage unit. I am an artist and have lots of materials and weird stuff and they managed the odd things and my most prized possessions with care. I would use them again.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
All of our customers can expect fast and prompt call backs from our company going over job details and confirming the move. There also will be a follow up call the day before to ensure everything is still set up and ready to go.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On moving day all of our customers can expect our movers to be on time and ready to work quick and efficient. They can expect the use of proper care and handling on all items as well as workers with great attitudes and professional demeanor.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled most types of moves. Everything from Commercial Warehouses to offices and every sort of residential home. We are experienced and well equipped to handle any sort of large items such as safes and pianos
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part about being a mover is being able to help people. I enjoy being able to take what can be a potentially stressful time and turn it into a positive experience.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We provide training in a local warehouse before any crew member goes out to an actual job. We go over safety requirements on proper lifting techniques. All of our crew members are background checked and drug tested.

We charge an extra 10% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
