Conquistador Moving Service sent 3 very hard working, prompt and courteous movers. After arriving on time the 3 hard workers got right down to business loading my furniture in my trailer. They communicated appropriately when they had questions and responded promptly to any directions or suggestions I had. I highly recommend their service to anyone!

Got off to a rocky start because HireAHelper did not seem to coordinate with Mike at Conquistador Moving Service and the date we had set conflicted with what they had available. We moved the date to the next day and then they had a cancellation on the morning of the original date, which essentially got the service to my house on the same day but 3 hours later. However, once they arrived they did a very good job of packing out my goods and they were very respectful. I'm not sure they taped up all of the boxes as I had requested but they did pack everything in the POD and finished within the 3 hours that we had originally planned on. I would definitely hire them again.

Our team was quite good, and they handled critical items such as our antique piano with skill and care. The supervisor (Mike, I believe) was good at keeping his guys on task, but he also routinely checked on their welfare due to the extreme heat. They unloaded two PODS containers in three hours. I'd assumed I'd have to finish what they started once their shift was over, but they left nothing for me to do out there. They were also genuinely friendly, and my wife and I got a kick out of their good attitudes. Well done. We'd hire them again.

The Conquistador Movers/Loaders thru Hire A Helper were terrific. They showed up on time, were efficient and professional. They sure know how to load and unload the PODS. I would recommend them to anyone and would use them in the future.

Just TERRIBLE. The owner of the company, Lucero, negotiated with me to "please not use Hire A Helper" so he could "keep their fee" on a second part of a move. I was trying to benefit him, so did so. WHAT A MISTAKE! On part A of the move the fee was $45 an hour for the crew of 3 (approximately). Without saying a word, when part B of the move was completed, he told me the fee was $75 an hour! When I complained and said that he had only charged $45.00 an hour for part A and had said nothing about any fee change he began raising his voice, sounding threatening and said his fee was $25 an hour per worker. He then began calling me a "cheapskate" whose business he didn't need when I disputed his essentially doubling of the fee without having said anything about the fee being different for part B. IF YOU LIKE THIS KIND OF TREATMENT AND BUSINESS PRACTICE, I SUGGEST YOU USE THIS MOVER. I've never had an experience like this before with ANY service professional (or unprofessional).
