Called multiple times no answer and left a message with each call. No return call. I understand there was a health issue, but someone should have notified me. Only after reaching Hire a Helper by phone, which wasn’t easy since waited on hold. After several calls got through to be told it was a no show. They did find an alternative, but took too long!

Dave and his crew were very helpful and tackled a lot in one day. We realized we had more stuff than we could move that day, so we hired them again on short notice to finish up. They were very accomodating and made room in their schedule to help us. They were courteous and Dave was communicative and flexible regarding the work time. They were careful with our stuff.

Movers showed up smelling like Alcohol. Very controling about how they wanted to do move. I am the customer and the one paying the bill. I have the right to have it loaded the way I want. One of the movers confronted my Son about a sandwitch laying on a piece of furniture that was not be moved ir going to be, almost leading into a fight. They were in condition to move anything. Wasted time to get 3 hours in without doing what needed to be done. Remind you I paying $100.00 DOLLARS a hr. I had to step in tell them you will bring all the heavy stuff out NOW, after being there 1 1/2 hrs. I had to help with couch, because the older one was still drunk from the 4th, alcohol pouring out of his body, smacked 3 pieces of furnitue agents the wall, will other worker asking what are you doing? So I let them leave and finished it myself with my son, STILL PD. THEM FOR THREE HOURS! Let it stand as a witness against them. I also want everyone to know that I am a disabled Veteran amputee below the knee, but that did not matter at all to them? They should not be working for hire a helper, had I interviewed or known what I was getting, I would have never used this service!.
