Experience Movers were on time and there was very good communication with them prior to the move. The job was completed within the contracted 2-hour time period. The truck was efficiently unloaded and all furniture and goods were brought to the new location safely and without damage.
Once the job was completed, though, my satisfaction with the company drastically changed. The owner insisted that I complete the online review immediately even though I wasn't prepared to do so until later. When I brought up the review section, he preselected the highest rating - "Wonderful job! I'd recommend them". In other words, he actually entered that category on my phone while I was holding the phone. He then insisted I write something positive in the review section. I wrote a few lines to finish the transaction and the process. I went downstairs with him to give his workers a generous tip when the owner asked whether I would consider paying for an additional half hour of work because the job was hard work! I told him I had never before been asked to pay more for a job than what was contracted. I did end up giving him a little extra for the workers; hopefully they got the entire tip.
Bottom line is that the work they did was more than adequate, but the follow-up with the review and request for more money was totally unprofessional and insulting.
