Unfortunately, several of my items were broken by the movers. A plant pot was broken. And because of not being careful while moving my side table the top of the furniture was taken apart. I happened to be in the area and found the furniture taken apart and found the missing pieces to put the furniture together.
When I arrived at my destination, I discovered that for some reason the movers took the drawers out of my tv stand, even though it isn't heavy, and so one of the drawers broke on the drive. Overall the truck wasn't packed well causing the movers on the other side to have to be very careful while unpacking the truck. (I was moving from NYC to another state, and had a 20' rental truck so there was plenty for a 1BR.)
