Damaged Table, Zero Accountability
Dropped my $2000 Crate & Barrel dining room table and shattered the corner — not a scratch, not a dent — ****ing splintered it.
On-site, I was told "don't worry, we'll fix it!"
Then? Radio silence. Nothing. Ghosted.
Had to go through Hire a Helper just to get a response. Now I'm jumping through hoops trying to get my busted table fixed while these guys pretend it never happened.
Their "insurance"? $0.80 per pound. $220 max. For a $2000 table.
Look, accidents happen. I get it. But when you break someone's ****, you own it. The boss needs to get off his ass and make this right instead of hiding behind fine print and ignoring customers.
Don't use them unless you're cool with damaged furniture and zero follow-through.

A bit disorganized, BUT Kevin AND Joey were EXCEPTIONAL! They both were Strong and Fast, taking extra care of my NEW furniture. Lamar was also very good with organizing the truck and careful driving. All in all I would hire them again. Good work fellas, thank you!

The service was scheduled for 10 am and the movers didn't show until 2pm. Hire A Helper shared that they couldn't do anything (it sounded like a scheduling issue not a provider issue) ...they offered a discount but when it came time to pay the price wasn't reduced. I was moving parents into assisted living, and one has Dementia- this created a lot of stress on everyone.
