Anthony and Chuck arrived early and worked diligently and carefully to get my boxes and odds and ends moved from one garage to another. I was disorganized, but they sure weren't! I would trust them with a much bigger/more complicated moving situation. They are very personable, professional, and hardworking. Not only would I recommend them, I will book them as my next moving labor help. Period.

I cannot say enough good things about Anthony and Chuck. When Anthony called to confirm the appointment, he was flexible and said they could do the day our truck arrived or the morning after. Sure enough, when our truck arrived they were able to come just a few hours later. It was a hectic move, just my pregnant self with my two toddlers as my husband was out of town on business. My kids were so rowdy and in the way, but these guys just took it in stride. They even asked the kids to come help out a few times and stayed an extra hour to set up our beds so we could sleep on them that night. If we ever decide to pack and move ourselves again, we will certainly hire Sitters!

I do a lot of moves. I'm a private fiduciary and I am the one that help my elderly clients move out of their home of 40 years and help them move into senior communities. I do several moves a year and I am happy to have found Sitter's Movers. Their attention to detail is fabulous. They are quick to work and very helpful. ( this crew didn't stand around or check their cell phones at all) it was all go go go and fill that truck. They arrived on time and finished on time. These men were very respectful ( lot of please and thank you snot just to me and to my clients but to each other) I would highly recommend them.

Sitter's Movers were great. I'd heard so many horror stories about moving companies that I was hesitant to use one. Although there weren't many reviews on HireAHelper (there were three but all of them rated the company five stars), I did a quick search of their company and read many reviews on Yelp which also rated the company five stars. Additionally, the cost was very affordable compared to many other companies in the area. Anthony called me the morning after I made the arrangement on HireAHelper and was very accommodating and friendly. The movers who arrived, Chuck and Mike, were both very friendly, helpful and responsible, and they carried the heaviest pieces of our furniture up a flight of stairs as if it was nothing. They arrived ten minutes early and completed the job on time. They also made a point of staying accountable and pointed out when something didn't look right, or if they thought they may have damaged something (they didn't, the furniture was old!). I will absolutely call Sitter's Helpers next time and I can't recommend these guys more!

Not only were they on time, Anthony was on top of communicating with me throughout the entire process. Even before the move making sure we had all the supplies necessary. He went out of his way to pick up the truck and supplies for me. Really amazing service.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We will contact you via text and email within 24 hours of booking your order to acknowledge receipt and introduce ourselves. We will also call you two business days prior to the move to discuss the details of your move and answer any questions and/or instructions you have for us. You are welcome to reach out to us as much as you like to!
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We will be on time. To be early is to be on time and our guys aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time to perform a walk through with you.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
We will send you an email within 24 hours after booking a move with the best recommendations we have learned to offer over the many years we have been moving professionally.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have not seen it all (not sure that's possible). But we have seen a lot: tiny moves, entire furnished apartments buildings completely changed out, junk removal, billionaires with high-end homes, professional athletes, homeless (hey, they have stuff too and sometimes, ya just gotta help somebody), office moves, cross-country, international...the list goes on.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I started doing this because I wanted to get paid to work out. I'm still doing this because I find tremendous joy in serving people in a part of life that is often pretty stressful. It's very satisfying to tangibly see the work you've accomplished for someone else. Meeting new people, spending a lot of the day outside, seeing new parts of town are all pretty cool too :)
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our crew are background checked and carefully screened. A crew member is required to have a minimum of 40 hours of on-the-job training prior to working for our customers.
