This is my second time using Sitter's Movers, and they were excellent both times. Anthony and John showed up a little early, got started right away, were fast, efficient, helpful and friendly. They were able to problem solve a tricky couch/hallway angle situation calmly. I highly recommend them and will keep using them for future moves.

Cant sing the praises of Sitter's movers enough. They were on time, friendly and very efficient for my loading job (moving out of state). My truck was expertly packed and not one thing broke on the trip. If I ever move back to San Diego, i'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

The team was very accommodating and willing to work around last-minute restrictions of my apartment complex regarding the POD delivery to the building. The movers were very efficient with their time management and were also prepared with equipment to move furniture in the quickest and safest way possible within my 2-hour reservation window. The team was definitely concerned with making the move as less-stressful for myself as possible on the day of the move and in the days leading up to the move with great communication, which I appreciated so much!

The main person was a great guy and easy to work with, however the problems we had centered around a few key things:
- Details of our move were not remembered
- Help from the team was unorganized
- Expensive item was destroyed
We told our movers we had to load our house, load a storage unit and then unload at the final address, the unload being a change from the original plan but still given with several weeks notice. On the move day, the storage unit and unload were forgotten about so the additional help that was there to load couldn't stay after loading. Because of this, the main person hired someone from Dolly who was less capable than the original guys, him or myself.
With the logistical troubles and me being 100% involved to load/unload it still took a very long time and ultimately did not cost much less than hiring a full service moving company.
Lastly, my 55in Samsung TV broke during moving despite assurance that it would be fine. I tried to get it repaired but the screen was cracked and thus it cost to repair didn't make sense.

I highly recommend Sitter's Movers. You will receive a detailed email from Anthony with moving recommendations that are very useful. Anthony communicates very well when it comes to time, cost, items you are moving, etc. When it comes to the actual move they were very punctual and got right to work. You can tell they are experienced by the way they navigate the larger items and arrange everything in the truck. They kept a concern for time, my budget, my needs and didn't waste any time. Again, highly recommend!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We will contact you via text and email within 24 hours of booking your order to acknowledge receipt and introduce ourselves. We will also call you two business days prior to the move to discuss the details of your move and answer any questions and/or instructions you have for us. You are welcome to reach out to us as much as you like to!
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We will be on time. To be early is to be on time and our guys aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time to perform a walk through with you.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
We will send you an email within 24 hours after booking a move with the best recommendations we have learned to offer over the many years we have been moving professionally.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have not seen it all (not sure that's possible). But we have seen a lot: tiny moves, entire furnished apartments buildings completely changed out, junk removal, billionaires with high-end homes, professional athletes, homeless (hey, they have stuff too and sometimes, ya just gotta help somebody), office moves, cross-country, international...the list goes on.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I started doing this because I wanted to get paid to work out. I'm still doing this because I find tremendous joy in serving people in a part of life that is often pretty stressful. It's very satisfying to tangibly see the work you've accomplished for someone else. Meeting new people, spending a lot of the day outside, seeing new parts of town are all pretty cool too :)
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our crew are background checked and carefully screened. A crew member is required to have a minimum of 40 hours of on-the-job training prior to working for our customers.

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.

We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.
