Relocation with Finesse Moving
We are a small company ran by Kellen Davis. We provide moving services such as full services moves in which we bring the truck, in house moves, loading and unloading trucks/ containers. I have been in the moving business for 3 years now and decided to go into business for myself. We offer top of the line customer service and no job is too big or too small!!

Arrived 3 hours late, u had to call the provider to remind them of my appointment. I am more disappointed in the 3rd party that booked this company. I’m happy my things were moved but not happy that I lost 3 hours of my day. Had I not called the provider I wouldn’t have had any movers, I hope this gets better with the next customers.

Worst moving experience of my entire life. We asked them to leave before our allotted time was up because it was better at that point to just do it ourselves. First, they arrived without a truck when we had absolutely clarified when booking with Hire a Helper that we would not be providing one. We agreed it was an issue with Hire a Helper and decided to proceed by running out on the spot to pick up a UHaul.
Moving the bed frame downstairs resulted in significant plaster being scraped off the ceiling beam. While it is a narrow fit, you would expect professional movers to have a plan and enough care to avoid something like that.
They were on their phones and moving incredibly slowly - we expected a full service move and ended up running circles around the team. We were told we were “rushing them” when we only had a limited time to get this done. In that time, they continued to prioritize the easy things and not the big furniture we really needed help with.
The final straw was getting to the dropoff destination and a wood nightstand being dragged across the asphalt, resulting in damage to one of the legs. When I asked if he could please be more careful, he yelled at me and said “I didn’t do that”. When I remained firm, he continued to yell at me in my own home . A complete lack of professionalism all around. Wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

I am leaving my honest review of my experience with this company. The movers were great, they arrived on time had excellent communication and did great work packing and loading the truck. I tipped the movers out $100 for their hard work.
The issues I had were with Kellen Davis the owner of this company.
The minute the move was done I received a call from Kellen, whom I had never spoken to before this letting me know the prepaid 5 hours were up and I needed to pay for an extra 2 hours for the movers. He told me I can pay him direct through Venmo and texted me his Venmo information. I paid the requested amount and left a $100 tip for the movers. I thought all transactions had been completed and continued with my day.
Kellen texted me 5 more times and called me 6 times afterwards, the last phone call I received was at 8:57pm. Kellen was aggressively telling me I need to pay for the movers and confused me with the extra 2 hours that I paid outside of Hireahelper. I explained to Kellen that I am confused by the outside payment and that I need to take this up with Hireahelper as he is now telling me that the 2 hours I paid him through his venmo was a tip.
Kellen was not happy about me not releasing payment immediately and retaliated by leaving negative reviews about my company on Google and Yelp. Stating that I do terrible business, hire third party movers and refuse to release payment.
If Kellen had just stayed out of it and all payment transactions were done through hireahelper his funds would have been released when the move was complete. I prepaid for 5 hours and hireahelper holds that money in an escrow account that is released when the move is completed. Kellen tied up his own money with telling me to Venmo him the additional time and then saying it was a tip. I don't know if he was trying to scam me for additional money or if he doesn't understand how payment is handled through hireahelper.
The movers did a great job. The owner of the company is not professional. Do not send him any money to his Venmo if he calls you.

I ask to have what needs to go packed and ready. Also for it to be a clear walkway for use to move the furniture safely.

My favorite part about being a mover is that it is what I enjoy doing and it keeps me in shape also I enjoy meeting new people each job.

I train my guys the proper way to pick up furniture safely and to take every angle with finesse and care to keep your furniture and walls safe. Most importantly safety for everyone.
