Relocation with Finesse Moving

We are a small company ran by Kellen Davis. We provide moving services such as full services moves in which we bring the truck, in house moves, loading and unloading trucks/ containers. I have been in the moving business for 3 years now and decided to go into business for myself. We offer top of the line customer service and no job is too big or too small!!

Arrived 3 hours late, u had to call the provider to remind them of my appointment. I am more disappointed in the 3rd party that booked this company. I’m happy my things were moved but not happy that I lost 3 hours of my day. Had I not called the provider I wouldn’t have had any movers, I hope this gets better with the next customers.

We were 2 hrs late you were an hr late I didn’t. Charge you I told you what happened you said you understood we got your job done effectively and you want to complain because you didn’t get a discount it’s all good look at the review after you the same day and before you

Worst moving experience of my entire life. We asked them to leave before our allotted time was up because it was better at that point to just do it ourselves. First, they arrived without a truck when we had absolutely clarified when booking with Hire a Helper that we would not be providing one. We agreed it was an issue with Hire a Helper and decided to proceed by running out on the spot to pick up a UHaul.

Moving the bed frame downstairs resulted in significant plaster being scraped off the ceiling beam. While it is a narrow fit, you would expect professional movers to have a plan and enough care to avoid something like that.

They were on their phones and moving incredibly slowly - we expected a full service move and ended up running circles around the team. We were told we were “rushing them” when we only had a limited time to get this done. In that time, they continued to prioritize the easy things and not the big furniture we really needed help with.

The final straw was getting to the dropoff destination and a wood nightstand being dragged across the asphalt, resulting in damage to one of the legs. When I asked if he could please be more careful, he yelled at me and said “I didn’t do that”. When I remained firm, he continued to yell at me in my own home . A complete lack of professionalism all around. Wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

Mover's response:
You got on here doing all this lying because you did not know any to spend money I did not drag anything I tilted on the dolly as we normally do. Since w arrived you guys were very disrespectful huffing and puffing the whole time rushing us because once again you said out you Mouth that you did not want to pay. Yall were passive aggressive the whole time, running past us with bags of clothes and small items while we were also packing. The truck not just dropping on the truck and running back that’s not how we work. Your opinion holds no weight at all you were terrible clients and I hope to never encounter anyone like the 2 of you. You are cheap and liars never gave us a chance to wrap the furniture instead tell us to drape a blanket over it in the truck once again cutting corners. I have yelled at you all you got back was the same energy you dished up grow up with the fake crying we are grown don’t throw stones if you live in a glass house

I am leaving my honest review of my experience with this company. The movers were great, they arrived on time had excellent communication and did great work packing and loading the truck. I tipped the movers out $100 for their hard work.

The issues I had were with Kellen Davis the owner of this company.
The minute the move was done I received a call from Kellen, whom I had never spoken to before this letting me know the prepaid 5 hours were up and I needed to pay for an extra 2 hours for the movers. He told me I can pay him direct through Venmo and texted me his Venmo information. I paid the requested amount and left a $100 tip for the movers. I thought all transactions had been completed and continued with my day.

Kellen texted me 5 more times and called me 6 times afterwards, the last phone call I received was at 8:57pm. Kellen was aggressively telling me I need to pay for the movers and confused me with the extra 2 hours that I paid outside of Hireahelper. I explained to Kellen that I am confused by the outside payment and that I need to take this up with Hireahelper as he is now telling me that the 2 hours I paid him through his venmo was a tip.

Kellen was not happy about me not releasing payment immediately and retaliated by leaving negative reviews about my company on Google and Yelp. Stating that I do terrible business, hire third party movers and refuse to release payment.

If Kellen had just stayed out of it and all payment transactions were done through hireahelper his funds would have been released when the move was complete. I prepaid for 5 hours and hireahelper holds that money in an escrow account that is released when the move is completed. Kellen tied up his own money with telling me to Venmo him the additional time and then saying it was a tip. I don't know if he was trying to scam me for additional money or if he doesn't understand how payment is handled through hireahelper.

The movers did a great job. The owner of the company is not professional. Do not send him any money to his Venmo if he calls you.

You’re a liar I never even asked you for any additional money, you paid for 2 hrs and a tip which I confirm you were trying to twist my words it get out of paying that doesn’t even make sense me trying to scam you. Like you said the payment gets released after the move is done which I texted you at 3pm when it was done how to release the payment because the move was done like you said so it does not make sense why you ignored me like that. Now you come on here not telling truth. You must not have read what you said you contradict yourself. It sounds more like a personal thing. i had to leave the review ti get your attention and not one time did I I lie in the review like you are doing on here. I have the screen shots I asked you at 3 to release the payment you ignored me include that too say everything that happened you I called you twice in an 4 hr time span you a liars And I mean that in every which way. It didn’t have anything to do with you doing it right then I asked you early in the afternoon and you got nasty with me for asking like I did something wrong then blocked to make it worst you have a moving company too what’s was the problem with releasing payment other tha. Because you didn’t want it to because you thought you would get a refund because you paid the last 2 hrs direct. We have a 5 stars what he is saying is a lie. Hire a helper even said I did nothing wrong collecting payment via Venmo or any app. Be honest Chris is had nothing to do with that’s, as in the contact I am slow to take payments via Venmo which they did tell you, you did all that crying about taking the review down which I did just for you to do this lol ok. You were being very rude you blocked me for asking to simply release the payment then Tried to black mail and try to get me In trouble with hire a helper. This guy is shady don’t ever use Ohana Moving.

Except a call within 24 hrs to get details of the move such as the items beings moved along with the elements of the home/ apartment.

We will be on time in a professional manner, equipped with everything needed to complete the job.

I ask to have what needs to go packed and ready. Also for it to be a clear walkway for use to move the furniture safely.

I have handed local, long distance, office, and retirement homes along with others.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

My favorite part about being a mover is that it is what I enjoy doing and it keeps me in shape also I enjoy meeting new people each job.

What training do you provide your crew members?

I train my guys the proper way to pick up furniture safely and to take every angle with finesse and care to keep your furniture and walls safe. Most importantly safety for everyone.
