They really need to learn a better way of packing the truck better ther was a wast of space in the front wear they could have had it packed hire and better ! They worked hard but the mover that unloaded it were not impressed at all !

The 4 gentlemen that came were very hard working and I’d consider hiring them independently. But the owner double booked our moves. I was shown the double booked schedules. I was booked at 10am and they didn’t come until 2. BEWARE it is their policy and it is clearly stated in the booking. They took less time than necessary and there aren’t refunds. Again, the guys that came were great. But not a fan of this company’s policies and not a fan of the company’s practices and policies.

1st they were 6 hours late
2nd they had no clue how to pack a truck
3rd because they couldn’t pack the truck properly they had to put my Charcoal grill on the back of their pick up truck, didn’t secure it and dropped it off the back of their truck while driving down the road and destroyed it. And said oh well you’ll have to talk to the owner. They took pictures and the owner never attempted to call to resolve

Our movers were so sweet! They moved very fast and knew what the **** they were doing. I was worried about our washer and dryer but they got them in and out like nothing. Great attitude, funny, super nice guys!!

Quick, efficient, friendly, very careful with our furniture. Their first job ran over and they called ahead of time to let us know. Highly recommend!

Took 4 hours (different company) to pack and load a 16’ truck but took SMS 4 hours to unload only. Truck 3/4 unloaded at 1.5 hours because Serbio said he won’t do unpacking and won’t assemble my daughter’s bed.
Used up the remaining 2.5 hours for remaining 1/4 of truck.
This was my 21st move in 40 years (42 loads and unloads) crew on loading end was able to pack my things and load incredibly well and tight.
They weren’t bad and they weren’t great so I chose 3 stars for average.
I won’t say don’t use them because at the end, all my stuff was in my home with no real damage to my things.

The workers were great. They called to let me know they were on the way, arrived within the alloted time, went above and beyond, worked hard the whole time. Thank you Cliff and Cameron.
The owner of SMF had overbooked, didn't respond to my texts asking him to confirm he was coming the evening before or morning of. He also did not respond to a hireahelper email from the day before asking him to contact me. I assume he was looking for someone to take my job which he found thanks to Cliff and Cameron
So 5 stars for Cliff and Cameron, 3 stars for smf but only because he managed to find someone.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The customer should try to have all boxes properly sealed, dresser drawers emptied if possible. have boxes staged in one location, also to have all needed materials such as moving blankets , shrink wrap and tape.
What types of moves have you handled?
My company has handled various residential moves, long distance ,storage units ,ABF trailers, loading and unloading of PODS ,and office relocation.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of being a mover is helping people eliminate the anxiety that's comes on moving day.
What training do you provide your crew members?
My crew has been trained in proper lifting techniques and well as furniture preparation,packing and customer service. .
