We had a glitch with our move. The scheduled movers called the morning of our scheduled move out date to tell us they were unable to complete our due contract due to an unexpected emergency.
We had no back-up and no flexibility to get this move done. Enter Ironback Moving Co. They were FABULOUS!

These people are here on time. Working very hard. They know what they are doing and make recommendation on how to protect valuable items. Well organized. Yes, I would use them for future move. Once thing to keep in mind is that your website advertised that you provide doll, shrink wrap and rope. However, when they show up, they have nothing. So ended up I have to provide the shrink wrap. They told me that they left it on the other truck.

I have moved many times across the country and this was by far the best moving experience I've had. The crew showed up promptly, and unloaded quickly, with a care and attention to detail I have rarely seen. They were very efficient in the unloading and setting up of boxes and furniture and even repaired some damaged furniture that was not caused by them (actually, I was the one who damaged it when I packed it). I'd recommend both these fellows (Evan & Andrew) for anyone's moving needs. They were exceptional.

I found Ironbark Moving through Craigslist and scheduled two movers to meet me at my new apartment in Chico to unload a full size Uhaul. A week prior to the move, Evan, the owner of the company, called me to discuss the details of the 'moving day' and he told me the time that I could expect he and his employee to arrive. On the day of the move, Evan and Trevor arrived on time and were incredibly professional, skilled and efficient. They quickly emptied the truck and placed items exactly where I wanted, and when they were finished, there was still 30 minutes remaining on my reservation. They quickly offered to assist me with a large kitchen island I was trying to assemble. My expectations were met and exceeded. They were pleasant, hard working and offered to go beyond the scope of my initial job; they were a fantastic! Without reservation, I would recommend Ironback Moving! Thank you Evan and Trevor!

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Please perform the following to the best of your ability before a loading job: 1) Pack all loose stuff into boxes (medium-sized is best). 2) Disconnect all appliances/electronics. 3) Take artwork off the walls. 4) Disassemble bedframes, large tables, etc. 5) Empty dressers, cabinets, closets, etc. 6) Remove lightbulbs from lamps. 7) Light cleaning is greatly appreciated

I have moved studio apartments, three-story mansions, commercial offices (e.g. H&R Block, realtors), pool tables, hot tubs, gun safes, pianos, antiques, medical/science equipment, motorcycles, and more.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I enjoy physical labor and find satisfaction providing service during what is often a stressful & difficult time. Loading trucks is like Tetris, and I can help solve your moving puzzle.
What training do you provide your crew members?
I personally train all my crew members and teach them how to wrap furniture, operate straps/dollies, and always use proper lifting techniques. We will safely protect your property and possessions during the entire moving process.
