This company totally misrepresented themselves The OWNER pretended to be a helper and took advantage of the fact I did NOT know. He made good money on the side and did not finish the job. I gave him LOTS of BRAND new items believing he could use them for his family, and to send other items to Africa, thinking he NEEDED them. When I wrote a check for the extra hours, and heard his name I realized he was the OWNER, and he did NOT need to charge me so much on the side or take any items. HE WAS THE OWNER. I did take my stuff back, but believe in honesty. This is only a short part of the story, and it turned into a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad experience.

The crew that came to help me unload a fully packed 28 foot ABF trailer were friendly, conscientious, well prepared with tools and equipment, and worked exceptionally hard! they listened to my instructions in detail and were very understanding when I realized that I had told them the wrong room in some cases. They moved items to the correct room cheerfully. I would, without hesitation, hire them again to help me. Thank you!

Dominic and Kossi arrived on time, reviewed the scope of the project with us, briefly discussed their 'game plan,' and began moving boxes and furniture out of the house and onto the truck within minutes of their arrival. They worked quickly and efficiently, and were patient with our questions and concerns. After a short drive to the new location, they unloaded the truck and moved the contents into the new place with the same speed and enthusiasm. They finished within the timeframe we'd reserved. Nothing was lost or damaged in the process. I particularly appreciated the fact that they worked well and quietly together, with no friction or arguments between them. It made a very busy [and potentially chaotic] moving day an almost peaceful one. I would use them again, and recommend MD Expert Movers to anyone who might need their help.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
