Prior to the move I expected a call to confirm the order. Since I did not receive this call, I called the company twice to confirm the move. On the day of the move they where to arrive between 11am and 12pm. I called to make sure they where going to arrive on time a little after 11am and was told they where running late and would arrive by 12:30pm. Anthony was polite and worked hard. The other mover Kevin (I think that was his name as he did not introduce himself), was slow, talked on his cell phone and did a lot of texting. Also, instead of asking if he could use the ice machine and water on the refrigerator, he just grabbed a glass and helped himself. When Anthony was loading the truck, Kevin sat on the steps in the house relaxing. I mentioned that perhaps he should be moving boxes and he stated, I have to wait to be told what to do. Would I use them, only Anthony.

They arrived 30 minutes late due to traffic. Otherwise they would have gotten 5 stars. They unloaded my 20 foot U-Haul that was literally crammed with boxes and furniture with 6 man-hours of labor -- exactly what I had estimated. They were unloading and moving the stuff into a retirement building and were respectful of the other residents as well as our property. The team leader was very knowledgeable and experienced and made sure they others were doing things correctly. I would use them again.

I used Just Hands last year when moving into my third floor walk up apartment. They did such a great job that I called them again for help with downsizing my storage unit. Anthony and his crew were awesome, again! They arrived on time and were prepared. They completed the transfer of heavy furniture efficiently and carefully. Very professional and polite young men. Anthony and his crew were hard working, respectful, and kind. They were a little later than the four-hour window but Anthony kept in touch about their timeline and was easy to get ahold of by text and phone.

The move was scheduled for 8am--noon, but they were overbooked and called to postpone until 2-3pm. When they weren't there at 3pm, I called them, and was told that it would be 4-6 pm. They arrived at 4:30. When I contacted Hire A Helper, I was told that the four-hour delay would get me a 20% discount, but that is not reflected in my invoice. When the crew arrived, they were fast, careful (NO breakage when we unloaded), and adaptable. I'd recommend that crew, but I whoever scheduled them needs a refresher on the whole concept of reservations and appointments.

Scheduled movers to arrive between 8-9 am, and they never showed up. I called their office and was told our names weren't on the schedule anywhere. They finally found our reservation, which we had made 2 weeks prior, and had movers out to our house around 11am. Once they arrived, they did a great job. Worked very hard, very quickly, and did not damage any furniture. Their tardiness caused us to be 4 hours late for the movers we had scheduled to help us unload our truck. Because of this, we had to pay those movers for extra hours of work. Just Hands worked hard, but their disorganization cost us.
