Bana Bros were fantastic! They were very nice and very accommodating. I anticipated needing a 16’ trailer and they were able to pack everything into a 12’ space, saving me some money. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Bad communication: They didn’t tell us that some items didn’t fit into our moving container until they were done. They decided which items would be left out without communicating with us. They unscrewed the bed and didn’t tell us where they left the hardware (still can’t find it). Items (lamp and plastic box) were dropped and they didn’t feel remorseful. When some items fell out of a box, rather than carefully placing it back in the box, they just through fallen item into the moving container. When we opened the moving container, a glass table was broken. We warned the movers that the glass comes off—they wrapped the table but I guess it was not secure enough. I would not recommend.

Mover's response:
On the moving day, we provided a great deal of communication to our customers as is our usual practice. We also told y’all that the bed hardware is in the nightstand(s) on the day of. We disassembled several items and wrapped numerous more as well as using all non-professional padding provided to us, though we recommended a good amount of professional moving blankets. We had 3 levels of items and loaded everything into a 16’ pod save for a few small unpacked items in the garage. Our policy is we can stay over 1 more hour beyond our initially scheduled time, and on one of the hottest days of the year, we gave 1.5hrs additional.

Regarding items falling out of a box, I am not sure which you are referring to, but we recommend all of our customers properly secure each box/tote with tape to avoid things coming undone.

At the end of the job, the team felt they were going to collapse from the heat and so ended the job with the pod packed almost to the brim, letting customers know the small miscellaneous items could be fit into the pod at the end. It is a regular occurrence that a customer’s belongings may not all fit into a well-packed moving vessel, and it is the customer’s responsibility to determine the appropriate size moving vessel/truck for their needs as we provided a labor-only service, and we often cannot know if everything will fit until the end of the job. I will reiterate that this occurs fairly frequently. We do, however, try our very best to load each vessel/truck as packed as possible in order to ensure customer satisfaction. I’m sorry we couldn’t provide the level of service we strive for.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

A call or text (whichever you prefer) confirming date and time of move and anything you may need on the day of.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

You can expect a text message or phone call in advance of our arrival and for us to arrive on time.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Ensure all belongings are safely and securely packed. If possible, have moving blankets (furniture pads), rope, and/or tie down straps available to secure the load (on load only).

What types of moves have you handled?

Loads, unloads, local, out-of-town, and long-distance travel.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Meeting new people on each job and hearing their stories and experiences.

What training do you provide your crew members?

Proper lifting technique, appropriate coordination with a team member when moving long, large, or heavy items down or up stairwells and around tight corners. How to properly wrap an item for safe travel and securing drawers of dressers, etc.
