I have never used a moving service before but when my parents needed to move across state to my new home I knew I didn't want them lifting anything. The movers were extremely helpful, kind, and courteous and my mother had nothing but wonderful things to say about them. This was an excellent first experience! I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They were careful with our things, followed my mother's instructions on how she wanted the truck packed, and with the little bit of time they had left they even moved some excess furniture around for my dad, who was staying behind for another few months due to his job. They gave amazing service!

The crew arrived on time and even texted prior to confirm. They introduces themselves and then got right to work. Very professional.
They had the proper tools to help us put our bed frame back together, not an easy process even though it seems simple.
They worked hard, not even a break, and an apartment move is not the easiest in terms of logistics.
And while I hope to not have to move for some time I would definitely engage 5-Star again and again.

What a great thing to have big strong fellows come and move things into our POD.
We could not have been happier.
We had some Rose Wood huge pieces from chiang Mai to put into the POD, they did it effortlessly!
They were right on time-worked with out a break and loaded everything.
I can not recommend them more highly than a 7 star.

Ben and crew did a nice job. Big strong guys worked steadily for four hours. Nice guys. Had to remove a heavy armoire through a narrow bedroom window six feet above the ground on a cold day. Good wrapping and loading. Make sure to have enough furniture pads, tape, etc. on hand. Most places will let you return unused materials. Have your small items packed in boxes when they arrive to save time and money.

When a customer books with 5-Star Movers, they can expect a prompt phone call to go over the details of the move, and discuss what the best options are for the customer to make the move go as smoothly as possible.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The customer should expect a crew that moves their items quickly and efficiently, while also being lighthearted and able to joke around with them and have fun on the moving day.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The customer should prepare for moving day by making sure they have plenty of ratchet straps and blankets so our team can come in and make sure all of their items are packed as securely and safely as possible. If it is a larger apartment complex, we advise that they reserve a freight elevator for use during their move.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done all types of moves from long distance full-service jobs to California, office moves, full PODs packs, and even just moving a couch around in a house. We can do it all!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of being a mover is the variation in environment from day to day. Sometimes I could be working at a 8000 square foot mansion with a 6 man crew, other days I could be working at a studio apartment with one other person. Every day is truly different, and that's what makes it exciting!
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our crew members all know how to use basic tools for assembly and disassembly, they know how to use moving equipment such as dollies and shoulder straps to make the move smoother. Our experienced guys are very good at loading trucks, and show the new people how to do it so they can one day be a great loader as well. We also prioritize attention to detail and will miss out on jobs sometimes rather than ever sending a crew we don't believe is 5-Star quality.
