First they were late 45 minutes late with no apology just late. They wanted Tom one early but we had not arrived yet. We had a 26 ft U—haul to unload. They rushed and were sloppy. They scratched the wood floors moving my desk in along with ripping a mop board off the wall. I made them use a blanket for the second piece of my desk. When I pointed it out they wouldn’t accept responsibility. They pulled off the emergency box by the elevator off and again would not accept responsibility. I asked them to take a few things into our on site storage , on the same floor-they shoved my library hutch so hard into the wall they ruined the dry wall. Left my moving blankets outside while rained. My furniture as a whole took a beating. Our mattress got wet because they set on the asphalt outside the truck, my credenza that goes with my desk beat up, scratches on my antique cedar chest, bar stools scratched and seats torn ,..... I could go on and on. Their reviews say 5, I had a hard time giving them a 1. They only thing they did was stayed late when I asked as we desperate. What’s odd is that they were more interested in looking at cars in our parking garage than working. I paid almost $425 for shoddy service. Worst experience ever. Dont hire them.

2 hours late to job. Unresponsive until after they were already 1 hour late to job. Did not use any of the furniture pads I provided even though they assured me they would. Messed up clothes/plants/furniture due to poor packing. Put my cat inside his cage into the truck (not the cab). Finally, the owner was extremely rude and harassed me via text when I wanted to pursue a refund through Hire a Helper. Would not recommend or use again.

The three gentlemen who came to unload for me did an amazing job. They were on time, fast, efficient, and took excellent care of my furniture. They were professional and friendly. I am very impressed with the experience and would happily refer their work to others.

They were there waiting for me 20 minutes ahead of time. The moment the door opened till we had the storage unit packed they were working. Efficient and respectful. Yes, I would use again and recommend them. Thank you for helping me keep my sanity after packing a u haul truck till 3 am then waking up at 7 am and driving 9 hours... I was wore out, mentally and physically.

These "helpers" were on time. I was a few minutes behind them and one of them said to me (about 1/2 hour into the job) "our boss said to make sure to tell you we get paid from the minute we got here". I had forgotten the keys to the storage unit and had to go back to the truck rental to retrieve them. I knew the policy with Hiring Helpers and fully expected to pay them for all of their time. Next came the loading part. Shortly it became evident they didn't care for my belongings and seemed put out with sour attitudes...at one point one of them asked if they had to move everything. All I could think was to ask if they just wanted to stop and I would find someone else to finish the next day. They acted put out by having to move my things, which, if I'm correct was their JOB and what they'd been hired to do. Once finished they took off. I had made the mistake of not getting hand trucks for unloading at my condo so I was frantically looking for some to make the movers' JOB easier. Finally they called me and said they had been waiting for me at the condo. No communication before that's where they'd gotten off to. When I explained what I'd been doing one of them had the gall to retort "we don't need hand trucks". Some of my belongings are heavy. and as I said I was trying to make their JOB easier. I would recommend hiring ANY OTHER COMPANY except this one.

Not the best of the service. They did help, but not without any damages. Ended up with a chipped dresser and a scratched crib.
