The two men that showed up were very professional and very knowledgeable on how to pack a container and that’s what really matters when you hire people to help you pack. I would definitely recommend the two gentlemen that were at my house.

They arrived on time but I felt that one mover in particular (who said he was the manager) did not have a great attitude. I had a difficult piece of furniture that didn’t fit in a room (which is okay) but the manager was very negative about it and condescending. He also left my brand new home with a TON of of scuffs and dents on my walls. He said he would call me to set up a time to fix it but he never did. It’s okay that the couch couldn’t fit in the room I wanted, but I do not expect for there to be all kinds of dents and scuffs on my brand new walls. I also had to move my own things upstairs because the manager refused to do it because “they were running out of time and had another job” we told them we would pay for the overage but he still refused to take my belongings upstairs. He almost didn’t want to finish unpacking my POD because of time. I had to tell him that as a female I could not unpack that POD by myself and I needed it to be unloaded that day, which he did begrudgingly. I’m not happy with my experience at all.

Mover's response:
Scheduling a moving service can be likened to scheduling a hair appointment in that there are typically customers before and after a customer’s appointment, so it’s important to perform the service within the allotted time. The caveat with moving is a customer cannot see our next customer who is eagerly awaiting our arrival and wants us to arrive on time like we did with them.
This was a 2-hour move, which we extended to 2.5 hours because we were 30 minutes early, not just on time as it was suggested. We cannot remain beyond our scheduled time commitment if we have another customer following the appointment, and this was the case. I was not rude; however, admittedly I was frustrated. I was frustrated because we had spent 40 minutes trying to make an oversized sofa fit that my 15 years of experience told me was not going to fit when my time could have been spent more efficiently unloading the other items and placing them upstairs. We chose to stay an additional 30 minutes because I wanted to make sure that all of the items were unloaded from the pod, which we were not obligated to do once we had met the 2-hour window.
As a homeowner, I am conscious of maintaining the investment of one’s home. Having worked in construction, I am aware that sheetrock will yield to a harder surface, which is why I forewarned the customer of the potential damage of trying to make an oversized sofa fit into a space that is too small. Despite my forewarning that the oversized sofa would not fit into this space, the customer agreed to accept all responsibility.
Even after the customer accepted all responsibility, I returned the next day and used compound to cover the surface scratches, as I told her I would the day of the move. Moving is my livelihood; it is a full-time commitment. As such, I am passionate about not only performing a move but performing it at the highest quality and staying within the scheduled time. It is disappointing to go above and beyond and receive an imbalanced review. To that point, as a customer, I would never tip someone I was dissatisfied with and I would have a conversation at the time of service communicating my dissatisfaction. That was never done, and when I left the customer was happy.

Mark and Mark were amazing! They arrived early and were able to load our pod in a timely manner. Both guys were very friendly and sociable. All of our belongings were respectfully packed without damage. You can tell they truly cared. They made a stressful move for my family MUCH less stressful. Cannot recommend these guys enough!
