Two young men, Justin and Kevin, from A+ Movers in CT, came to unload our POD. The were nice and respectful, however, they came without tools. They tried to put a small sleep sofa into the wrong room and in doing so, damaged the door frame of the bedroom. The top of the sleep sofa had tears along the width of the top of the sleep sofa from trying to force the sofa through the wrong door and because they had removed the protective wrapping from the sleep sofa prior to entering the house. They were also unable to reattach the wooden feet to the two-piece sectional as they did not have tools to do so.
They were nice and they did work hard when they were unloading the POD.
To clarify, the sectional was oversized and wrapped extremely thick, which made it unable to fit through a standard doorway. This was an 8-ft POD we did not load, and the feet of the couch were already damaged, which is why they could not be reattached — the threading inside was stripped, and the feet simply screw on without tools.
The crew only attempted to bring the sofa into the room you requested, and once it became clear it wouldn’t clear the doorway safely, they stopped. Any marks came from the oversized padding of the item itself, not from forcing it through. Our manager David, also went there personally and spent 2 hours attempting to rectify the couch leg problem for you next day.

I booked this company through hire a helper which i've used in the past and had a good experience previously. The team was prompt professional and respectful of my property. I had a sixteen foot container that was nearly completely loaded. The team showed up and unloaded the container and moved to my apartment within 2 hours and even helped set up the bed frame.
It was a stressful day for me. But it was a great experience. I would definitely use them again.
