The movers were professional and friendly. The truck was loaded incorrectly resulting in multiple damaged boxed and materials within the boxes. They did not utilize the moving blankets provided appropriately. Overall, very dissatisfied how the truck was loaded causing damage to brand new boxes and materials inside.

Michael was helpful by helping me pack but didn't tape a note to each box that said what was in the box (e.g., "pantry items" or "Pyrex dishes", etc), so when it came time for me to unpack & I was looking for a particular box that I really needed, I couldn't find it & had to spend a lot of time opening boxes that I otherwise wouldn't have needed to open at that crazy busy, stressful, & very late time of night when I was SO exhausted. I had asked him to write a short description of the box contents onto a post-it note & then tape the note onto the top of the box, & I gave him a specific example. He put a note on the first few boxes but then quit. Also, I had provided foam padding for dishes & showed him that all he needed to do was place the foam between each dish, because I saw that he was taping the foam around each dish & being slow. When I saw him taping the foam around the dish, he had put packing tape from one part of the foam to another part of the foam, but when I unpacked that box of dishes, I found that he had put packing tape from the foam directly onto the china plates themselves (not foam-to-foam), & the packing tape stuck to the china, & it was difficult to get the sticky part of the tape to come off of the china. I was SO irritated that he didn't have the sense to know that you don't stick packing tape to china!! They also damaged the corners &/or edges of a few pieces of my furniture even though I supplied an excess number of furniture pads, & when I pointed out the obvious, very visible damage, they minimized their poor work by trying to claim it was only surface damage & didn't damage the wood. I replied that it it definitely damaged the wood, because the wood surface was now rough to the touch, not smooth, besides the fact that the damaged areas were bright blonde & the furniture was stained a dark espresso color!! So clearly the stain was all gone & the damage extended down to the blonde wood! It really irritated me that they not only didn't apologize for the damage, they made light of the damage. They also often talked to each other too much about personal stories & it slowed down their work when they were talking. The day before the move, when Michael came out to help pack, he personally saw all of the items that needed to be moved, & I asked him how long he thought the move would take so I could be sure I had reserved enough time. He said 3-4 hours. I had reserved 3 hours, & Hire-A-Helper policy stated that movers can stay an extra hour after that, so I essentially reserved 4 hours, & Michael thought that was plenty of time. It took them over 6 hours to complete my move of a 1 bedroom apartment, & they ran out of room to load all of my belongings into the 26' truck, so they didn't pack the truck as they should have, because a 1 BR apt should fit into a 22' truck. I rented a larger truck to allow plenty of room, & they ran out of room. Thank God my move was local & I was able to transport the remaining items in my personal car by making several trips. Michael & Rene are nice guys, but I won't rehire them when I move again.

The guys you sent were very friendly and helpful. They made short work of the 8 by 16 foot pod unit full of furniture. They had it loaded into my storage unit in less than an hour. I would certainly recommend using Christian Veteran Movers and will use their services again. Thanks!

I had the great pleasure of using Christian Veteran movers and would use the again if needed. As soon as Renee and Derrick arrived I liked them. Up beat energetic and ready to work. Followed our request for unloading a moving truck as to where we need stuff. Great conversation with them while they worked and just a happy crew! I highly recommend them if they can be requested!

The 2 men arrived 15 minutes early, well groomed and ready for the job. Both were very polite, respectful and worked hard. They did not need to be supervised. Kudos since I booked Christian Veteran Movers 11:00 PM and the move was the next day. I was impressed and completely satisfied.

These guys were awesome! Can't recommend them enough. I had a hiccup with forgetting some paperwork for the new apartment and they waited patiently and still got the job done! (I paid for the extra time of course) They were polite and very friendly. Use these guys over some big company that extra charges for every little thing. Loved them!

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
You will receive 5 star customer service and a crew that will work hard to get your move done in the time you booked. We also have very polite and honest crews that will go above and beyond to assist you throughout the entire process.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
For moving day we ask all customers to have items ready to be loaded or unloaded. If you have to pack during the move it may take extra time and extend your move past your previous booked time.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done over 300 moves to date in all different aspects of moving. There's not a move we will not be prepared for and have not done.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
We love being able to help customers in a time of need and to make the moving process alot simpler and smoother.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We provide our crew with a two day training where we teach our way to pack and wrap furniture but also how to pack pods and trucks.
