What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Upon booking service with us, you can expect a call from our moving consultant to review the details of your job to ensure accuracy and provide information about our company and services. You will receive a confirmation email and receive an additional call the day before your service to confirm the arrival time for the next day and to check on your preparation. The day of the service, the Crew Captain will call you 30 minutes prior to arrival and be greeted by the team upon arrival.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On moving day, the team will call you 30 minutes prior to arrival and when they arrive will introduce themselves. The Captain will perform a walk through of the home and review the applicable paper work while the other team members protect your home with floor runners, door jam protectors, and bannister covers. They will wrap, pad and protect all of your items before bringing them to the truck to deliver to your new residence.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Customers can prepare as little or as much as they like. We are a full service moving company and are always prepared to provide moving supplies and materials if needed. The best way to prepare is by communicating with us and asking questions as moving is a stressful time and we want to make it as easy as possible. If a client wants to be "move ready", then they should have all items boxed up if they are packing themselves.
What types of moves have you handled?
We perform intra-state moves within the State of Massachusetts. We handle commercial and residential moves covering everything from studio apartments to mansions to corporate offices and also offer packing services. We can do walk up apartments, assisted living facilities, city and suburb.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The best part about being a mover is seeing the teamwork and satisfaction our clients experience during what would otherwise be a stressful time for them.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our crew members go through extensive training in our warehouse which has a mock apartment built in it to replicate real moving scenarios for their first week. The second week, our movers are attached to a moving crew to observe an experienced team. This is then followed up with on the job experience where the newest team member works their way up on the crew by demonstrating proper execution of the different stages of the move. It takes about 6 months for a team member to become qualified to lead a crew.
