The movers called on the day of the move to let me know there were running 20 minutes late. When they got to my apt they went to work right away. It made the move a lot easier. The only thing i would rate them low about is that they dropped my box of dishes which all broke. I heard it while they were loading the truck. They probably werent going to fess up to it until we asked them about it and they apologized. They also broke a large picture frame i had. And Scratched my book shelf. I didnt notice the 3ft scratch until i rearranged the furniture at my new place. I think they knew and just positioned the shelf in a way where i wouldnt be able to see it until they left the house. They were speedy and did a good job wrapping my couch. They came prepared with their tools. Unfortunately they werent as careful as I would like. I would use them again only to help move heavy things.

I booked with Lucky Movers a month in advance and they accepted the job. They were supposed to call me within 24 hours after I booked the move, they never called I had to call them.
The night before the move was to take place I called Lucky Movers to confirm they were coming and Ivan said they were having trouble with the truck and would not beable to make it, he never called me to tell this fact.
I left me without a mover and my mom needed to move on 8-31-12 or she would end up getting charged rent for the month of September.
The fact that they did not keep me informed of the problems was unacceptable and it also cost my mother 3 times the amount because of the short notice to find another mover.

Everything went smoothly. The helpers called and came right on time. They spoke good English and were very friendly. They worked carefully & quickly. I was impressed.

Very efficient and professional job, they arrived on time and worked hard. I thought we would need two trips for the move in a 24' truck, but Ivan was a Tetris master and made all of our stuff fit.

They called a few days in advance to confirm (again). They also called from the road to say they would be a little late, which gave me more time to prepare.
They were more than prepared with blankets, wrap, upright boxes to hang up clothing, etc. They took better care of my things than I did when I last moved. I definitely did not need to wrap dishes, etc as carefully as I did.
I told them I could only pay for the original 3 hours and they worked hard to make it... which I really appreciated. We got it all moved in those 3 hours.
I plan to use them again soon to move a bunch of fine furniture that was recently bequeathed to me.

I've moved six times in the last six years and this duo from Lucky Movers was the best. Nothing broken. That's a first. And the slight dings here and there one gets with every move were minimal.
The crew chief -- a young Russian (?) whose name escapes me -- was great as was Hector, the second man. They both worked straight through for seven and a half hours! I had to force them to stop for lunch. And they took VERY few water/rest breaks and those were so brief I hardly noticed.
Again, they did a great job. I would recommend those two again and again.

Lucky Movers did a great job. They were flexible on the time since I didn't know when my POD would be delivered, exactly. I thought it would be late afternoon but when it showed up early, Lucky Movers was able to accommodate me and were there a half-hour later to unload the POD. All three guys worked hard to get the POD unloaded quickly, despite the hill and stairs they had to carry everything up. I would gladly use them again and recommend them without hesitation.

Expect us to come on time, be fully prepared and fully equipped on your moving day. We might give you a call upon our arrival to confirm the arrival time. Expect courteous and professional work by our movers.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure to prepare a few moving blankets and may be a plastic bag for your matress. We will deliver the rest for your move.
What types of moves have you handled?
Currently we handle local and long distance moves going as far as 300 miles
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
It's meeting new people every day and seeing new places. Some workout is also big plus.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We train our movers to be precisly polite and respectful to the customer's household and its belongings. New members learn at first how to wrap and protect and handle the things. Maneuvering and moving large furniture skills next. We train our movers how to pack a pod or truck like playing the tetris game.
