After unloading our stuff this last Sunday, we discovered how terrible Gold Medal Moving packed the containers. Several pieces of furniture have been ruined by scuff marks, scratches, or dents. Blankets were provided, but they were either not used or not secured, exposing several pieces of wood to being bumped, rubbed, and scratched by everything around them. A bicycle was ruined due to the major scratches and scuff marks on the frame.
We have several mirror boxes that were stacked on top of each other horizontally, even when the boxes state do not lie flat. Who does that? One picture's glass was shattered.
We had the leg of one wicker chair impale the wicker webbing of another wicker chair.
Save yourself a lot of angst, do NOT go with this company.

My helpers did a fantastic job. Showed up ready to work and got the job done right on time. Worked extremely hard for 4 hours straight. Alway communicated what would be done and did not damage anything. Fantastic job and would definitely use them in the future.
