MJ, Josh and Chase did an awesome job. They were on time, with equipment, and very knowledgeable on proper packing of a POD. I will be requesting the same crew to unpack my items when my remodel is complete.

The crew overall was nice and worked hard but clearly inexperienced. 1 guy showed up late and they wanted to charge us an extra 30min of labor for them completing right at 3 hrs limit.

This is a mix of good and bad. The BAD: Originally showed up on-time, but came unprepared and had to leave to pick up a roll of stretch film. That unfortunately took 2 hrs and really threw off my schedule. It also pushed us into the hottest window of the day (118-degrees) making it miserable for everyone. This all led to a lot of frustration and awkwardness when the job wrapped up because the manager of the crew thought they should be paid for those 2 additional hours. Hire a Helper resolved it and only charged me for time the crew was there working. Unfortunately, they closed out the invoice before I did, leaving me no way to tip the crew after they left. (The tip functionality is a nice option in the invoice process, but only before the invoice is closed out).
The GOOD: Once on site, the crew was great. Strong, capable workers. Very thoughtful and careful about moving furniture and loading it into the truck. We worked well as a team to sequence the load and ensure it all fit and was secure.
I’m not sure where the breakdown occurred, but that delay really weighed on this rating.

While there was a mix up and the original team that was supposed to move me didn’t show up, the company was very responsive and explained to me the situation. Although I wasn’t originally thrilled, I was very impressed with the ability of the movers and I was moved in within an hour and a half, plus the POD had been parked essentially down the street, so I was very impressed!

I had a lot of stuff, but one of them wasnt prepared to work and then the other guy slowed a lot. A few breaks is ok, but they were super slow right from the start and kept stalling as many times as possible. I know it was hot outside, but I paid for 4 hours and got 2 hours worth of work. They left 1/3rd of my truck unloaded and said couldn't stay any longer. Was absolutely a doable job in 3 hours, as several other movers have completed the move for all the same stuff in the same timeframe.

They ran behind schedule, but called us in advance to let us know their previous job ran late. They worked quickly and carefully. The guys even moved some other items around that weren't getting moved today. Our only concern was that the drawers from all of the furniture were stacked on the overcab section of the moving vehicle. They were not secured and could have easily shifted when the vehicle was in motion. I would suggest refitting the drawers in their respective piece of furniture for future customers. Very friendly gentlemen. :-)
