Showed up late missing one helper. We adjusted the time for 2 helpers to make up for the missing guy which put us hours behind schedule. We needed to add an extra hour to get it completed. I paid for that separately then they charged me the extra hour through hire a helper for all 3 guys. So yeah we were scammed and over paid by a couple hundred bucks. Not to mention the amount of broken furniture that was unloaded when we got to our destination. Very expensive furniture that has been in the family for decades. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR BELONGINGS!!!
I made every effort to reconcile with you. I wanted to change the order to 2 men, and go from there. You said if we work an extra 1.5 hours without charging extra for that 1.5 hours, it would satisfy the missing mover. We proceeded to move a 5 bedroom full house at a dizzying pace without pause for 6.5 hours straight. How is our company earning $350 to move a 5 bedroom house a scam? We made about $25 per hour each at the end of it, not counting the pads you still haven't returned and the roll of shrink. I am sorry you feel upset in any way, but your review is an absolute false narrative of the actual job. You weren't over charged, and if there are damages, I don't recall bumping a single wall or dropping a single box, so I'm assuming you have evidence to support these claims.
I don't know how or when anything was damaged. You did not supply us with any furniture pads or shrink wrap to protect you possessions. We wrapped everything with our own pads, used a full roll of our shrink wrap and your cardboard leftovers to protect the furniture despite you not providing said protection. This was another attempt to reconcile any feeling of dissatisfaction. I don't typically lend out furniture pads to our clients as this means I have to pay to have them cleaned to avoid cross contamination.
You never returned the over $200 worth of pads and I used my own $23 roll of shrink wrap, not to mention how damaging a review like this is.
I generally don't argue with our clients, but you told me every was to your satisfaction at follow up, and we negotiated and agreed on price and time estimate before we even started. Then I woke to these claims which are just false, and looks a lot like deformation of our company, and it threatens our ability to survive during this pandemic. We chose to do extremely arduous and exhausting work to survive through this. We depend on doing good work and getting good reviews. I've been in this industry for 28 years. Why would I throw away the credibility we've worked so hard to build, to "scam". If there was an overcharge you accidentally put down or that HireAHelper put, you'll be refunded.

Good guys. They did a good job and were very polite. They were later than I expected them but I chalk it up to miscommunication. I also appreciate the fact that they were respectful of my home and my belongings. Nothing was scuffed or dinged. Most of the movers that I have hired in the past don't seem to mind damaging your walls or the items that they are moving. These guys care

Guys showed up on time, ready to go. Very courteous and respectful of my possessions. They moved everything to the room it belonged, being careful not to overstack or damage anything. I had a lot of broken boxes from a cross-country move. The guys took extra care with those so the contents did not spill out. They put together some furniture too. Overall, they were very fast, but careful and respectful of my stuff. Great job. Would book them again and have already highly recommended them to a friend.

These guys came in and got the job done . They went the extra mile to remind me that I recently had back surgey and to sit down. :-) . There were some road blocks in regards to narrow spacing but they figured it and got everything done in time. I would definitely use their service again. Thanks GUYS

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Our clients can expect us to be safe efficient and systematic in our approach to executing the endeavor swiftly. We will show, do a walkthrough so everyone knows the details, and workers can be assigned an area of focus. Then we will prepare by disassembling if needed and wrap the furniture and matteresses while the boxes are being removed by a crew member(s) to fit as much in a load as possible, and give us room to maneuver. We will keep the pace showing fast results taking special care.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
I suggest letting use do the full pack and move for the easiest and most seamless and worry free move where we guarantee all we do. Or for a budget move, a good preparation would be to have everything packed and labled well. Having everything disassembling and beds wrapped saves a little time too. Packing correctly makes things faster and items safer from damage. We always work swiftly with purpose and direction.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of being a moving specialist is creating order from chaos. To make something that seemed impossibly hard and tiring smooth and swiftly executed with safety and ease. Most importantly without unnecessary damage.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We do mock up jobs when we have personal stuff to move, warehouse and storage work, and sometimes in the field. We use the same formula that's been implemented by all the top experienced movers in the industry. We teach how to wrap prep consolidate pack china and other specifics, use humpstraps, move pianos. We show new guys YouTube videos also. There's a right way to do it all, and if this formula is repeated the same every time, then no time is wasted and very important, no claims.
