I am a very satisfied customer. I found the site through google, read the reviews, and was skeptical, but tried it out anyway. After booking online, I received a call from CNS moving service within minutes to confirm my order. I asked if they could bring a dolly, and they did with no extra charge. Just to be sure, on moving day, I had my mother come to my apartment so there were two of us to meet the movers. The movers were on time, and were very professional, respectful and efficient. They got the job done in less than two hours. Specifically: they moved 2 beds, a dresser, a coffee table, shelves, and several boxes from my SUV to my eleventh floor apartment. I would definitely use this service again if I had to, and I would highly recommend CNS moving service to anyone who asked.

This was a load/unload for the local move of a three-bedroom apartment. This is the third time over three years I've used CNS Moving Service (see my 5-Star reviews on 11/10/2011 and 11/07/2010). I rented a Penske truck and relied on CNS to provide moving labor. While I only booked for two movers, four showed up. Cris (the owner) explained to me that he and the extra mover were just there to help load the largest items, then they would leave for another job. Cris hung around for the load, and left us with two other movers for the unload. As always, Cris did an outstanding job. Of the two movers that remained with us, one was fantastic (respectful, a hard worker, putting in 100%) -- the other was not so great. With about 3/4 of the truck unloaded, he strarted complaining that he was getting tired, dragging his feet, and suggesting that the few remaining larger items would not fit into the house (seemingly in an effort to get out of unloading them). Of course, these are not things you want to deal with on a move, and by that time Cris had already left. Fortunately, the other mover was able to push him to finish despite his complaints, though we wound up helping with the couch -- not so much of a big deal, all things considered.
While this wasn't the stellar five-star experience we had working with Cris directly the last two times -- maybe this was closer to 4 stars -- the fact that they showed up on time, provided extra help at their expense during the load, and that overall the move went smoothly and was completed without any damage, made up for that in my mind, to earn 5 stars again. In all cases, I'm happy to see CNS Moving Service is still around and growing, and would still recommend them highly.

These two gentilemen were top notch. They packed my 14 foot truck so well that even after driving 250 miles in stop and go traffic not a single item shifted and nothing was broken. I had to ask the one man to take a break and drink a bit of water before he continued. Prompt, polite, and delicate. Would recommend this service.

The guys were right on time. Very friendly. Had them for two hours and they were done in an hour and a half. Made the stress of moving very easy. I would definitely use them again.

It’s truly unfortunate that people of New York City believe through their continuous commendation in reviews of CNS Moving Service that they have received an authentic and professional moving experience.
1. No uniform (to identify their establishment),
2. Poor communication and disrespectful in general.
3. Inability to professionally handle furniture (damage to furniture and walls resulting in claims for my client.
4. No equipment. How does any establishment get a job done with no tools and equipment?
I am the owner/operator of a professional moving service in D.C. Metro. I have been professionally handling personal and professional assets of my clients for over 8 years. I know good when presented. CNS is not where it is. Be advised. I am tempted to open office in NY to share a true moving experience with fellow New Yorkers. Good luck with this one.

Please note, it is written in their description that they do not bring any devices with them. So it is up to you to get a dolly or a cart.

The 2 men that helped us move our daughter into NYC were soooo nice and extremely helpful! they arrived 15 mins early and were so efficient that a full U Haul and big SUV were empty in 1 1/2 hours and i had booked them for 2! they totally saved us and the move would have taken forever if we had not had them!

I am SO happy I decided to hire help for our move. I didn't want to burden my friends with helping us move so I thought I'd give this a shot. These guys were EXCELLENT! They worked extremely hard throughout the 2 hours and did all the arranging inside the truck to make sure everything was packed safely and within the footage we were allowed before being charged extra by the moving truck company. They even got there early and before I went out to meet them they had already blocked off a spot on the city street for the moving company truck to park. Really wonderful experience and I absolutely recommend them without hesitation.

We used hireahelper.com for a small move that was too much for my wife and I to handle. I only booked them the day before and we could not have been happier. The price was appropriate, the process was easy and the company they connected us with, CNS Moving Service, was reputable, courteous and efficient. The manager from CNS contacted me via phone to check in and update me on their timing on move day. They did a great job and were done faster than anticipated.
Perhaps most shocking was that I easily spoke on the phone with people from hireahelper.com! Not sure when I last got phone assistance from a web-based company.
I definitley recommend utilzing their services.
