Our movers were extremely friendly and kind, and they had a very trustworthy and professional demeanor. However, better training is needed from this company’s leaders. We felt that we should have guided them through the whole move to maximize efficacy and efficiency. The job took twice as long as it should have, and we ended up with a ton of freely moving items in the front, followed by two mattresses that blocked us from rearranging them easily. Throughout the first 24 hours after this service, we spent countless hours trying to mitigate the spatial issues, causing us to miss our hotel reservation, incur a no-show fee, and even sleep in our truck (the seats don’t recline) because it was so late at night we couldn’t find a hotel. Today we finally got fed up enough and took everything out of the back half - the piano, mattresses, and all the boxes - and rearranged everything before putting the rest of the items back. Now the truck drives smoothly and with much less noise and vibrations (which had given my cat severe anxiety). I wish I didn’t have to pay $500 for a service we ended up having to redo. For the original amount of $220, it may have been admissible, but $500 is just too much for simply loading a truck and incorrectly at that.
