This was a very frustrating move. The moving team was supposed to arrive between 10-11 am. I received a call around 10:20 saying that the move had to be changed to 3pm or for the following day because they don't do moves in the rain because the ramp gets slippery and could be dangerous. Changing the time was going to be problematic but it was a better scenario than moving it to the next day (which was not a viable option). When the move team contacted me to tell me they were on their way, I had to call back 30 minute later to find out where they were. They were lost despite having a GPS. To make matters worse, the ONLY equipment they had with them was a hand truck. Luckily the community we were moving from had a flatbed dolly for them to use. They didn't have any tape or rope to secure the moving blankets so I had to run out to buy a few rolls. They did not have any tools or a cutting knife to cut through all the packing tape. They worked diligently once they got going but I was amazed at how ill prepared they were. This resulted in an extremely slow and expensive move. And the net result was that I was not able to get the move done and had to cancel my work obligations the next day to finish up. Last issue was that the technology was not working for me to mark the job as complete so that my card would be charged. The manager with the company said that I would have to pay by check (which I didn't have) or cash. Absolutely not. I had to call Hire a Helper to complete the job by phone. Again, I think the movers meant well and worked hard but the whole operation caused me to have a very bad experience in an already difficult situation (moving in and out of a senior community with strict COVID restrictions).

They worked hard and loaded my 16 ft pod in 3 hours....unfortunately not all my furniture fit and I had to have another 7 ft pod delivered. The crew came back that night at 8 pm to pack the 7 ft pod. I definitely recommend this company and crew!!

I called late evening September 24, 2020 to hireahelper. The team member who received the call went far and beyond to meet my needs. The workers were exceptional, I was not prepared as I should have been. The four gentlemen loaded the truck and were kind and respectful to make my experience pleasant and less stressful. The moving company we originally contracted with showed up 4 hours late, then refused to do our move, leaving us with a 4,000 square foot house to move on a Sunday afternoon. I made frantic phone calls but no one was open or available, until I was referred to HireaHelper. 12 hours after we contacted them, the guys from Easypath showed up with a truck and a team, and then spent the next 2 days helping us pick up the pieces. They worked incredibly hard and went way above and beyond to get us moved on basically no notice, and handled a lot of setbacks and challenges during the move. I can't thank them enough for rescuing us, and would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you!

The three man crew was on-time and masked/gloved up, which was appreciated. They were hard workers, but spent a lot of time taking apart one big dresser, as it would not go down the stairs easily. Unfortunately, they put a number of dents in the wall going downstairs (and did not mention this to me). I will say that the stairs were not easy, but all items made it up the stairs easily (and without damage) when we moved in. I would be okay with scuff marks, but I had to spend several hours patching up the dents and repainting them. They also had a difficult time getting everything in the 16' POD, as a couple of big pieces were left to the very end. It took a while rearranging things, but we eventually got everything in.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Within 48 hours of booking with us, an EasyPath team member will contact you by phone to confirm your scheduled move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On the day of your move, a member of our team will contact you by phone 30 minutes prior to their arrival. Once on site your assigned team will do a walk through of the property. The next steps are a bit tedious, the team will disassemble and add protective wrap to all needed items prior to transport. Once items are properly prepared your team will begin loading.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
For the safety and convenience of your moving team, keep paths clear of debris. Also keep pets and small children in a separate area.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled jobs anywhere from local residential moves, moving office buildings, stores, and offer long distance, out-of-state moves.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part of being in this industry is giving our customers the service they deserve.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our team members go through extensive training prior to being scheduled on a job. They learn how to use equipment and how to properly lift regular and more difficult items. Our main concern in our training if safety of our team and your precious belongings.
