I had scheduled with Your Local Movarz, two movers for two hours on Monday, June 30, 2025. Arriving between 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
At 5:15 p.m. I called them and talked to Seida and he checked who was assigned to our move. He came back and said oh, it's me. Iam on another job and only 60% done. I said I had to have my pod loaded today because it was being picked up tomorrow. He gave a bunch of excuses and I was getting really upset. He said I should get upset WE just have to find a solution. He said he would call me back. 45 minutes later he called back and said there was no one who could come load our pod. He said he could send three guys the next day at 8:00 a.m. I was hesitant because I didn't know when they were coming to pick up the pod, but I really had.
They showed up and loaded the pod, but I wouldn't use this company again.

They were on time. Personable and easy to work with. Hard working. Communicated everything they were doing. Asked questions when needed. A pleasure to work with.

Not a good first impression when movers arrived to load a whole house of furniture without a dolly. Thankfully I had a dolly they could use, however it’s not an appliance dolly. They had a hard time with some of the bigger furniture items. The workers were good at their job, but wished they would have been more careful with the fragile items. I would not recommend this company.

Seida, you and Kizzie provided us with great service and handled our items very carefully. Seida from HireAHelper was awesome. He listened & asked for photoss of our first POD. The team came back, unpacked & reloaded all the contents so the kayak & document boxes all fit. Thank you.

I can’t give enough praise to Sieda, Jashia, Devin, and Johnny for a great move! After 3 move date reschedules and more items than I anticipated moving, I was still not prepared for the move. However, Sieda and the amazing team of Jashia, Devin, and Johnny dismiss a beat. They were prompt, professional, courteous, considerate , and very attentive to the move. There were problems at the job prior to us so they were late due to delays beyond their control.
When they arrived on our job they were very respectful and worked very hard the whole time. It was a very long day for them and also very hot. They were a couple of young, strong guys who did an awesome job. They didn’t complain about anything and just kept working.
If we need movers again we would definitely request Josiah and Russell.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
When a customer books with us, they can expect a range of services that will make their moving process as smooth and hassle-free as possible. A personal move manager is assigned to you. They will be your main form of contact from start to finish of your project. On the day of the move, we will arrive at your home with a team of professional movers and all the necessary equipment and supplies to pack and move your belongings safely and efficiently.

They will carefully pack your items, load them onto the moving truck, transport them to your new home, and unload them at your new location.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Declutter: Take the time to go through your belongings and get rid of items you no longer need or want. Donate, sell or discard unwanted items to reduce the amount of stuff you need to move. Pack Early: Begin packing non-essential items as early as possible. This can include items you rarely use, such as seasonal clothing or decorative items. Pack a Survival Kit: Pack a box with essential items you'll need on moving day, such as toiletries, clothing, and important documents.
