The movers arrived on time and were friendly. They seemed to do a good job at loading but we had a fair bit of damaged or outright broken furniture. Our TV stand was demolished and many other pieces were marked or damaged in some way. They were very efficient at packing into a tight space, but we'd rather have used more space and gotten our belongings safely to the destination.

The "actual" move went well. The unfortunate issue that I am dealing with now is that they damaged one of our couches (completely broke the back support and damaged one of the corners). I immediately contacted them the next day when I discovered the damages and was told that they would be "right over" to assess the damage. No one ever showed up, no call back...NOTHING! I then contacted Hireahelper.com and they contacted Acme Moving. Acme disputed my claim (without even coming to see the damage) nor have they showed any indication that they wanted to resolve my claim in the first place. The damage is obvious and I paid for their moving services and at least expect that they would make some sort of effort to come and see the damage and resolve/repair etc. I would NOT use them again or recommend them to someone. How can hire someone that you cannot trust will want to resolve a damage issue......very disappointed in the end.
