They were to be here between 10-11. Arrived at 1:10 pm. Driver did call to apologize. They came from Longwood Fl. 1-1/2 hr away (?). Said they had traffic issues.
See pictures. Not in uniform. Did not look professional- since I was to get “elite” helper ( I had a POD). They were courteous and nice. But slow. No dolly or hand truck. Only tool they brought was a roll of wrap. I did not see work belt with screw drivers or any other tools. My husband and I took the 5 beds apart and stood mattresses against walls for them, prior to them arriving, in an effort to expedite the move ( not wanting to spend all day here). But since they were 3 hours late and all of a sudden could not pack any more in POD at 6 pm, our day was ruined for accomplishing anything else in our move.
We spent 45 min, after they left, finishing the packing of the POD with no problem, and by 7:05 pm we were finished.
Upon returning to condo we found they had emptied all our dresser drawers ( not many but probably 4) and put items in other piles ( for good will and our suitcase) without telling us what they did. Now we have to go buy more containers to box these up in.
We are just finding they took our pillows from top of closet we were to sleep on tonight.
This is turning into a night mare.

These guys were great. I scheduled a POD unloading for 5:00 PM and the POD was delivered in the morning. They agreed to show up earlier which gave me a lot more time to unpack everything and be done.

I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE FIRST YOUNG MAN WHO ARRIVED ON THE JOB, BUT HE WAS CORRECT IN TELLING ME THAT THE POD THAT I HAD ORDERED WAS TOO SMALL FOR WHAT I WANTED TO TAKE,
THE SECOND TIME THE OWNER CAME WITH THE SAME HELPER AND THEY WORKED HARD TO COMPLETE THE JOB IN TWO HOURS.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
If you are Packing on your own. Prepare all your belongings with the proper packaging materials. If hiring a mover focus on packing your boxes and labeling them correctly. Try not to over pack so things can be moved swiftly and prevent box spills. Be sure to check all dressers or drawers are empty and contents are stored and prepared appropriately.
