For our move, we decided to separately rent a truck with Penske and hire helpers. We had an outstanding experience with Speed Loaders. The owner (Shantel) is responsive and fun. We had Angel and Frankie helping us on the day of the move. They were on time and were both incredibly experienced in loading the truck with ease. They were respectful of our belongings and truly a pleasure to work with. At the end, we paid exactly what was quoted and did not have any damage. Angel and crew were amazing. They were thorough and professional and handled my property with care. I really appreciated the way that they took the time to pad and wrap every single item to ensure secure packing and shipping. I also appreciated their flexible schedule when I needed to run out for more supplies. It was a pleasure working side-by-side with them, and they showed extra patience in getting the final few items out of the door amidst the tail end of house clutter.

I was very specific when scheduling the service that I would need some furniture assembled and some disassembled and then reassembled. I was assured that every team came with a complete tool box and something called a "Quick Mover" or something that would facilitate the move. The movers arrived with 2 handcarts, period. No tool box, no Quick Mover. The only tools we had were a pair of pliers that I had and a cart I use for carrying groceries to move items. As a result the move took far longer than it should have if they were equipped the way I was promised. I was charged an extra hour because the move went overtime, but was later offered a partial refund due to the situation. I have no issue with the movers. They were friendly, professional and worked very hard, but they were not properly informed on what the move entailed.

Shantel who was my coordinator was FANTASTIC. She was through, professional, friendly and was willing to make the changes I needed work, a true problem solver. Great customer service when it doesn't really exist these days.
My movers Jonathan and Angel were fantastic as well. They showed up 30 minutes early and I wasn't at the POD yet so that didn't leave me time to do the prep I intended to do. I was moving a 16' POD and they only brought a dolly and two hand trucks, I thought they would have larger "transport devices". I was able to get one from my apartment about 3/4 into the move and it sped things up considerably. In the future I would ask what equipment they will bring. Both were very hard working, worked quickly, carefully and were friendly and professional. It took us 4 hours for a 16' POD/2 bedroom apartment (I had a lot of stuff but a larger transport device would have reduced the time). I would hire them again.
Just a note: I was extremely dissatisfied with PODs, their customer service is horrible.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We call the customer to verify the information provided within 24 hours. At that time we find out the details of the move in order to assist the customer in knowing the materials they will need to prevent scratches and scars. We also call our customers the day before the job in case they are faced with unforeseen changes that require time changes.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Our customers can expect a crew that has moving techniques and customer service skills. We bring dollies and a tool kit that includes a drill. We are your personal movers.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Tell your Move Coordinator the details of your moving needs. Speed loaders reaches out to customers prior to move day to assist them with information that lessens the stress.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have experience with household, commercial, international, senior assisted communities and schools. We load/unload/pack/unpack trucks and containers. We move all kinds of pianos including grand and baby grand pianos. We also move gun safes. We are the movers that have Quality assurance managers that are here for logistical questions. We work with real estate brokers move out one customer and moving in the new home owners. We also assist in staging homes that are for sale

What training do you provide your crew members?
We only hire experienced crew members. We train our guys on what our providers require. Our policies require that crew members pad on all 6 sides of a piece of furniture. We take pictures as we load and unload. These pictures are evaluated as the move goes. If something is not done correctly the crew chief is called.
